Hello, I have just finished my first day on LL and it has been difficult but I managed. This site is great to see everyone doing so well and I think it will maybe keep going in the following weeks/months. Went out tonight with friends, all drinking the wine and eating fabby food, sat there with my water feeling a bit sorry for myself but did manage. Any tips on kepping motivated would be most welcome.:)

Hi Vikki
the first week is the hardest, after that it becomes easier. And Missy well done to you for going out on the first night and facing all that, I hid myself away for near a month before I felt brave enough to do that.
There is usually someone here to keep you motivated and help with questions and even to listen when you want to moan or rant.

All the best of luck for the first week and remember no matter how hard this week gets, its going to get so much easier, trust me in a week or two you will have so much energy you won't know what to do with yourself.

Please keep posting so we know how you are getting on.

Thanks, good to know there are others out there on a daily basis. I suppose I will get to know the others in my group soon enough. You have done really well, keep up the good work

Thank you, funny you know when someone says that I automatically want to say 'do you really think so' its been so easy for me that I can forget the amount of weight I have lost.

Good luck with day 2. Oh and nice to "meet" you.

Hi Vikki, Tange is right it really does get much easier after the first few days. During the first couple of days I'd take painkillers if you get a headache, don't sit there suffering.

You'll find the weeks quickly roll by and that you're losing weight quicker than you can imagine. Keep posting in here and after so many posts you'll be able to get room for signature space where you can put a ticker and/or a goals list - I find they really motivate me.

Drink at least 4litres of water a day - at first you'll be running to the loo but your body will soon get used to it.

Stick with it and keep us posted as to how you're getting on - good luck ;)

I agree with Tange - after the first week, the diet becomes almost self-motivating! You start to see results, you will feel differently about life, in a very short time your clothes will start to feel loose, your skin brightens up - just so many wonderful benefits start showing themselves so quickly, it just keepsyou wanting more!!

Hang tough the first week - then sail on to your slimmer self!!

Wishing you all the best on your journey!!

xx

Thanks for the support, I feel I can't hide away. If I do that I'll get fed up then the temptation to eat will be even worse!
