Ooooh, I am soooo excited! :D
I got my Cambridge stuff today and I am so set for tomorrow!

FYI for the curious: Cambridge USA program:

4 servings a day.

Comes in giant tins of 21 servings each.

110cal, 1g fat, 17g carbs, 1g fiber, 11g protein a serving with loads of vitamins and minerals.

I also have a sampler of 4 bars but I will wait a while before trying them (probably save them for days I don't have access to make a shake).

I got lots of "recipes" with everything for the shakes; really just what different extracts and such to add to make different flavors.

I also picked up a "personal blender" today; you know, the kind that is a unit and a tumbler that goes on top so that once you make the shake it is already in a cup!

Yay! I am soooooo super duper ready!!

Wish me luck for tomorrow! I will let you know how it tastes.......... :)

Sounds good Cait.

I'm sure you will do really well as you have really thought this through. You have also taken on board everyones views and suggestions which just shows how ready you are to do this and make a change. We all have to be ready to do this to succeed and I think you really are. Looking forward to hearing how fab you look at Christmas.

Hi Cait

Im sure you will do absolutely brill. You have been chomping at the bit waiting for them to come and your super duper motivated. Do you SS for 3 weeks and then do add a meal or what way does it work over there?

Like a magic bullet?

Anyway, best of luck. It's exciting isn't it ;)

Thanks, thanks and thanks for your good energy! :)

I ended up having a shake yesterday morning (chocolate with orange and vanilla extracts for a tootsie roll flavor) which was quite good. Only problem was.......... yesterday ended up being a loooooooooooong day and I wasn't able to have another shake and I gave into my tummy pain by 5pm (still at school and didn't leave until 8pm! I get up at 6am...) and had some candy.
Today, I was late getting out and the day just did. not. start. right. So, I am going to start tomorrow morning.
Ah, at least tomorrow is supposed to be a "light" day work-wise and class-wise for me so, I hope to be able to stick with it.

Claire--- on cdusa you are supposed to ss for 2 weeks and then do the "regular program" which sounds akin to cd 790/add a meal (correct me if I am mistaken), as you still have the 4 shakes but you add in 400 cal of healthy lean protein and greens.
Btw: have you started yet? Hows it going???

Let me know how the flavours are. I am living in Sweden and am purchasing Swedish cd from some woman who doesnt live near me and I end up paying so much in postage!!! Oh, the benefits of living in the middle of no where.

I was debating having my mum (who lives in the US) send me some. With the exchange rate and the added postage I have to pay here on my packs, it would work out MUCH cheaper just to get it from the states. Let me know how it tastes....

By the way, what was written on the customs declaration to get it through without hassels?

Thanks Julie!

Palmettofairy-- It tastes pretty good (granted, though, I have only tried the chocolate.......) and I don't know about customs as I live in the States so obviously that isn't an issue for me.

So, BIG NEWS: I MADE IT THROUGH MY FIRST DAY AND I HAVE LIVED TO TELL THE TALE!!!!!! :)
Heeheee, I am so happy......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And uber proud. :)
