Pickled cabbage and skimmed milk

Hi, Am a newbie on the site and am on day 3 of SS + 1 with skimmed milk. Have been soooo grumpy all day (especially at tea time!:sigh:) and my husband now is avoiding me. Hope to feel better tomorrow. I read on one of the threads how adding the 200mls of skimmed milk might knock some carb sensitive people off ketosis and now am worried i might be one of them!:(. I was also wondering if any of you experienced Cambridgers know if when it says your 200kal meal can include pickled cabbage - does that also include shop bought stuff (red pickled cabbage)as i notice there is some sugar in it? I never thought i would ever drool over red cabbage!!!:eek:. I guess it's all part of this crazy few days i've been having!!

Most people will be okay with the skimmed milk but do not go over the 200 mls and make sure it is skimmed and not semi. Some can be carb sensitive and the milk could affect ketosis. Get some ketosix and check its the best way if you continue to feel hungry after day 4.

Thanks - need all the help i can get.

I think i'll just avoid the pickled cabbage to be on the safe side:cry:. It's day 4 and feel slightly better this morning. Still feel hungry although i really don;t know if it is real hunger or in my head!! What a bizarre state of affairs!!:confused:. Also have TOTM which doesn;t help. My poor Hubby is living with a demon at the minute what with PMT and the Cambridge diet. Am not getting weighed for another week or so (every 2 weeks) and i think the next appointment i shall get more soups than shakes as i miss my savouries and got too many sweet shakes. Everyone is doing so well - It's good to know there are other people out there going through the same thing!:wavey:
