The advice that will change your life.... guaranteed!

We're always looking out for that one 'thing', that one piece of advice, that one diet where it will all fall into place and our struggles will be over...well, here it is....

Be nice to yourself and find something other than food to cope with life

What do you mean, you've heard this before and it hasn't worked! :p How long did you do "it" for? Are you still doing "it"? Do you only do it sometimes? Well the key is for us to keep on doing "it" until we no longer even realise, keep on until its a habit that we don't even know that we have it .... the only giveaway will be the looser clothes!

This is nothing to do with speed just success.. so even VLCD'ers can gain masses from this regardless of which plan they are on..:D

It's the best time, hun....so you can sleep on it and then wonder why you wake up feeling so "different"! I lurrrrrrrrrrve the unconscious mind!!! :D

Would you prefer an "empty" head??? I believe they call that death! :)

No...I always had it, I just didn't realise it before! I wonder how many other people have all that they need and don't realise it! ;) :D

Funny how the threads that produce the most thought are the ones with the least responses! :p

Diva, have just read this thread (a bit slow i am at times....) and i can't agree more. I have a liitle saying that I say to myself when things are rough
'Cadburys will not make it better, cadburys will not take it away so don't rely on cadburys'.

It works for me and then, if i am truly hungry I eat something that will give me energy and sustain me through the tribulations. (My current fav is a bit of sushi, but that is another matter...)

i must admit i struggle to find anything comparable to food when i have the munchies - and i feel disgusting after giving in to temptation!

yeah reading is a good idea, i always had a good book on the go but since i've moved back to Wales (January this year) i've not read a single book!!!!!!! Shock horror!

I spend a lot of time working from home at the moment, but after this week i'll be doing a lot of travelling and spending time with our dealerships so i'll have nooooo time to spend thinking about food - although motorway services are a huge temptation to me - i love picnics in the car - bloody hell i sound like a lunatic - i hate food really, and what it does to me so why can't i just acknowledge that and stop it from controlling me?!

A little bit of luxury will go a long way....

I'm quite decadent and indulgent by nature so tend to treat myself to things that I wouldn't usually by. For instance, not so long ago I was feeling quite crap so treated myself to some Jo Malone perfume and every time I feel as if I'm about to feel like that again, I spray the perfume and it reminds me that I'm ok and all is well in the world! Definitely worth it to me...

oooo yeah diva i defo like a bit of decadence!! maybe i should find something like that to spoil myself - no idea what it could be though... I love lush bath bombs but then hate the cleaning bit after cos the bits just stick to the sides of the bath hahaha

God i'm a nightmare!! I need a nice strong man to move in with me to keep me on the straight and narra!!

I had a lovely chat with my mr wonderful tonight then headed straight for choc and biscuits then went to the shop and bought a frozen pizza - at so much i was sick, then ate a bit more chocolate - scary cos i've been naughty 3 days in a row and that is soooo not like me - usually it's one day then good for a while!!

This was a lovely thread :)

I believe the power of smell should not be underestimated when it comes to pushing the buttons that make you feel good....:D:D:D
