First few days - weight gain?

Hi there. I just started back on SS on Sunday. I know this is only my 3rd day....but I just wondered, did anyone else put on weight in the first few days? Thought it must be water gain, as there's no way to put on fat or muscle with just packs and water (I havent touched anything else)

It probably is just water and your body adjusting to the increased intake. Also, it depends what and how much you ate the few days leading up to SSing xxx
 
Hi Dreamer.

I am on day 3 now and got on the scales this morning to show a 6lbs gain! I wasn't downhearted as I know surely it can't be right! Ive been 100% .

Will weigh again in the morning.

Thanks for the advice eclipse. Although I think something, it's always nice to have people reinforce it (so I know I'm not just assuming). It's amazing collectively how much experience people have here :)

Just to update I showed a 6lbs loss this morning (from my original weigh in weight not just the 6lbs gain from yesterday!)

That's great! I'm showing a 1lb loss from the original weigh in, which is a relief even if it isn't much. All in all I was hoping on 4lb per week not including water loss (as that bit we'd gain back). There's still time yet though, and I know if I only loss a cpl this wk, I'd prob catch up next wk
 
Hehe gone to 2.9lbs from original weigh in now...and still 3 days to go, I'm a lot happier. I think I'll reach the 4lb I was hoping for. Would be nice if I could have more in the first week.

I'm now down 3 and 3/4lbs, only 2 days till official WI. I'm pretty positive
