What if I fail again??!!

The first time I almost got to goal.

The second time I didn't even make it halfway to goal.

Today is Day one of a third attempt!!!

I want to be positive and upbeat about it as I am going to give it my best and final shot.

But..what if...I don't think I can...

....are all words wizzing round my head right now.

I have the motivation this time...I'm just lacking on positive thoughts.

Stay Strong

I am currently on my 9th day of my who-knows-how-many restart, and I am feeling good. This crazy diet is different for everyone, but just try to get through each day and use your water to help keep your hunger at bay. I lost just under 7 stone last year and I've put all of it plus a bit back on.

Last week I lost 12lb, which has helped me to keep going and that's all the advice I can give, is to just keep telling yourself, I'll just do it one more hour, one more day, one more week and then it just become routine, and it's not worth it to break. Last week I was so antisocial, locked myself away and watched DVDs, and I got through it.

Good Luck and if you ever need somebody to talk to, you can come to me.

Hi Hannah

the part I have quoted has really struck a chord.

I felt exactly the same when I stopped smoking almost 3 years ago. I remember wanting a cigarette so much I wanted to cry. I used to give myself mini goals of getting through the hour!!

Thank you soooo much...you have put things into prospective for me.

Thank you
Sue

Brilliant advice - I am a re-starter, failed LLer then tried to switch to CD 1.5st from goal then piled it all on and tried another 2 restarts then added another half stone for good measure.... I re-started Jan 7th 2008 and after getting passed Day 4 then the first weekend I have never once looked back - taking it one step at a time at the beginning works, before you know it a fortnights gone then a month then 2.... Good luck hun xxxxxxxxxxx

I seem to recognise that when I 'think' I'm under pressure to achieve something...then I generally don't.

When I stopped smoking, I used to think to myself that I was only going to do it for a day and then review how I felt tomorrow!!

Only I really knew that I would not start again...I just think it gave me a little bit of control over the whole process.

That sounds a load of garble...but I think I know what I mean :D

Anyway look at my ticker...it will be my first holiday in 4 years woohooo:D

Sue you have your holiday as an incentive. Don't think about failing, try and have a positive outlook and as others have said take it slowly one day at a time. Good luck hun you've done it before you can do it again.
