well i have had good new regarding my nana, they dont think its angina or a blood clot on the lungs anymore (hooray) its got to do with her haitus (?) hernia in her stomach and something with her lungs that will need tablets but not as serious as the originally thought blood clott or cancer.
thank goodness for that.
I've found easter this year quite hard to resist, i think its because i know i only have 1 more week of development before i can eat (i am definitely doing managememt) but its causing all sorts of naughty chatter box thoughts. I have managed to resist but blummin heck it doesnt half tire yourself out when you are arguing with yourself.
Have a good day everyone, im going to go and see if i can get my hair done today, i fancy a change of colour.

sil x

Enjoy your day Cookey, congrates on the jeans

Morning all, Happy Easter Monday! Sil, thank god ur gran is fine now and that her health will now to in control with the tablets and nothing else! Bex congrats with the birth of ur little niece, ahh Tahlia, what a beautiful name, glad to hear that both mother and daughter are doing well!

BL Happy 7th Anniversary, you really made me laugh yet again with the row over the duvet (story of my life, mind u Hubby does' always take the Kingsize duvet to himself anymore), lol! :) May u both have a wonderful evening tonight!

Well all, i am really feeling fed up with the diet, i m sooooo exhausted physically now, got no energy left in me, honestly, will try to take pics soon to show u what i mean! I have started to age (and i will be only 28 in May). I wake up feeling exhausted and go to bed feeling exhausted, my family want me to finish now, but cos i have only another 2.5 approx to lose, i might as well just do it! I am going through a rough patch, but i don't cheat or anything, i have never ever done that! Just on Xmas and Valentines like i told u guys and that was just a bit, and then went straight back on to the foodpacks.

Anyay cos i am saying round my parents house for a bit, i haven't been able to see my LLC, so haven't been weighed sine 12th March, will therefore go to Tesco's today to get weighed on those special machine thingy's and will let u ll know later.

Will come online later now all. I hope everyone is fine, sorry for blurting out yet again with how i am feeling, it now feels like i have been doing this for 1 year, when its just over 6 months! Good luck with everyone's weigh-in's today, lvoe to u all, god bless, xx

Brilliant news on the jeans cookey, just glad you found them before they really are too big!

Sil I'm really happy to read the news on your nan, great to know that they don't believe it to be too serious. I had a blood clot on my lung 15 years ago and it was a time of trauma and hell, so I'm so happy that she doesn't have to suffer that.

Hurrayyy to Tahlia being born, that really is lovely news (specially for her mum!).

Happy Anniversary BL, hope you both have a lovely day and evening together xx

Slim - you may feel better and more positive when you've been weighed and you see what you've lost since the beginning of March. The way I'm looking at it is that if I look slightly older with a few more wrinkles as my face goes smaller then I would have looked like that had I been slim all my life - it's just that the weight padded me out, stretched those wrinkles out.

2.5 stone (if that's what it is after your weigh in today) isn't much at all and can be gone in no time - stick with it honey xx

Well I had my last lie in of the holidays today, was very nice too - didn't even wake when hubby got up and went downstairs so I must have been well away.

Don't have much planned for today apart from seeing to a bit of laundry ---- and yippee it's weigh in tonight so hopefully that will be pretty good.

Sorry to hear your feeling like this slimsea, my god you have been doing this for a year you are a saint. I have been on this for 8 weeks on wednesday and have nearly give up twice. To not eat for 12 months that takes a lot of doing are you sure its ok to be doing abstinence for that period of time is there anyone else out there done this. I am stunned that you have and can understand you feeling knackered. Hope you feel bettter soon love lola

Good Morning peeps,

Congrats Bex on being an Aunty, BL have a great 7th Anniversary and Cookey on the Jeans.

Slimssea - look how far you have come, just shy of 100lb lost - that is amazing and something to celebrate, if you have lost 2/3rds of what you needed to lose in 6 months, you've only got 3 months left and you'll be on RtM. I know that sounds a long way off, but in reality you're looking at June. Come a week tomorrow, you can say that you'll be eating again the month after next, and that doesn't sound half as bad.

I've been to the gym this morning - only did half an hour on the nordic skiier, but it's better than nothing, I need to push myself to go everyday well monday to friday anyhow, especially if I am planning on losing everything by the end of April. I've booked my big reveal for the 30th May, so should be about 5 weeks into RtM by then - will just have to be careful with what I eat.

Anyways - have a good day y'all

I've booked my big reveal for the 30th May, so should be about 5 weeks into RtM by then - will just have to be careful with what I eat.

You will be able to have protein, cooked veg, fruit and also booze within reason (wine, champagne and spirits, but no beer) from week 5, so it should be a good celebration.
The main things still missing at that point are the pulses and carbs.

Good luck, you will be there in no time.

Thanks for the info Ali. I'm so glad I am not a big beer lover - would much rather have a glass of wine with a meal. It seems what I was planning to eat after the diet, falls in well with week 5 - had planned to giving up potatoes (unless sweet potatoes) as for pasta and rice - that would be a once a month treat - had said to OH - that we would only have take out once a month on a saturday (as our sin day), going out for dinner would count as that months sin day. Only one desert per week with sunday dinner, other than that it'll be natures candy - fruit, fruit, fruit! Was pleasantly surprised when OH agreed to it.

Thank you Katie, I didn't see it like that! Really apprecaiate the advice and support everyone! Thank you!

Lola, i have been doing LL diet for over 6 months (however it has felt like 1 year).

Corey thank you- i know what u mean, June isn't far away! I mean when i started last Sept, i thought OMG, this will take forever, however we are nearly in April.

Thank you all, you guys are sooooo wonderful and i truly love and respect you all! Its such a wonderful feeling to be in touch with u lot who know exactly what one is going through on this diet.

Thank you everyone, will be on later tonight, so byeeeee for now and god bless xx

I have been eating lots of fruit with low fat greek yoghurt and sugar free jelly and loving it.
We had some friends for dinner last week and I made pears poached in red wine (week 5 recipe) with greek yoghurt and they all loved it (DH was like 'WOW! I never had that before it's lovely')

Your tastes really do change on this, my diet is totally different than before but I enjoy it more.

You will be surprised at what you learn about yourself and food on RTM.

This week I am on week 8 (start of the trigger weeks) which is pasta, rice, potatoes, couscous, noodles.
You are supposed to eat some of one of these each day for 6 days, then none on day 7, I have to say that I am finding it pretty filling, just 2 little bits of potato is plenty.

Corey, tell us more about your big reveal --- sounds intriguing!

Morning all or should I say afternoon,

I have had a very lazy morning as you can see and been in bed with hubbie (watching the tellie - shucksssss:D;)).

Well SS please hang on in there you have done so well I know what you mean about the journey seeming ever ending but just imaging when you go to Luxor to see all those tombs you will be running up and down those ramps. It is something you musnt miss. Keep at it hun.

Now for the congratulations well done aunty Bex and hope mother and baby are well. Big cong to BL the whipping women hope you have a lovely anniversary.

Good news about the jeans Cookie you had better check your wardrobe you will be surprised at how quickly things get bigger.

Really pleased about your Nan Sil better than any easter egg.

and of course Kate hope you have a great lazy day.

Not doing much myself, got my friends coming over with their son to ride one of our ponies and sorting out some paperwork errrrkkkkkkk:wave_cry:

HAVE A GREAT DAY. Really behind on my water to off for a glug.

Corey, tell us more about your big reveal --- sounds intriguing!

It's nothing big or fancy - have some very close friends, whom we don't see very often, but avoiding seeing them at the moment until I reach goal - hoping for the biggest possible shock! The really big one will be at my Nieces wedding - most of my family won't have seen me since before I started the diet, so am again avoiding my brothers and sisters for the shock factor, Mum lives in Spain, she has already said she is worried she'll walk past me because she won't recognise me.

I am seeing this diet as my extreme makeover!!

corey love the idea of having a big reveal! I don't see some of my family until xmas so will be a shock for them then hopefully!

I see mine in May. Nobody back home knows I am doing LL. I will have to tell those that would be involved with any meals, and shopping etc., but holding out till the last minute.

I worked out my weights today as follows: 1. my weight when I arrive in England. 2. My weight when I begn LL. And 3. my weight now.

1. 266lbs 121kg 19 Stone (July 2001)
2. 281lbs 127kg 20 Stone (January 2008)
3. 235lbs 106kg 16 St-10lbs (I think-never good at converting to Stones!) March 2008 (duh. :D)

So since I left the US, becuase I ganeed over here, I am not that much further down. :( But some will have seen me last year - they will see a bigger difference. I have until 16-o5-08 to get as much off as my body allows. I hoping for a good several weeks so the WOW factor is bigger!

But I realised - the REAL wow factor will be when I go back in November for Thanksgiving - then I will be smaller then most people back home will have EVER seen me. That is dead exciting! :D

My cousin comes home from th USA in 4.5 weeks, she came home about 15 months ago and I was at my biggest, she will defo see a differnce. I will go for my hair done and hit the sunbed for a few sessions and buy some really nice clothes. OH said he will give me £500 for clothes when I reach my desired weight so will go bananas. I really upset him the other night as I cried I was so fed up with it all but he can see its making me look better so he encourages me which is good
