Does anyone have experience with this.We have been TTC for 4 years, had ops, treatment and nothing. The docs said is was cos I'm overweight.

I can't remember where but I read online that VLCD were thought useful to help overweight/obese women to conceive. If I remember well, they wrote that losing weight help re-balancing hormones (or something like that!). If you have been trying for 4 years, you have nothing to lose! Go for it )

I think ya should bite the bullet and go for it ya wont regret it when you start to see the results!
Yeah first few days are tuff but its ok after that

GO FOR IT ;)

Right you Tuesday your going , kicking or screaming your going, please report in Tuesday to tell us what flavours you got................. you better;)

all i can say is it has been the best decision I've ever made. You can do it, just know you're not alone. Come on here and you will be inspired. I have a friend who was on VLCD and now shes pregnant, she wasnt planning to be but she is and is very happy about it. So Vicky we're all behind you. Take that step and go and get your supplies and get drinking (water)!!!!!

Congratulations Sarah:flowers:

I'm exactly 17 stone now - I'm still hoping to lose some more before I expand. I'm not on a vcld though.

Just shows - anything can happen !

Don't get me wrong - I've always thought I wanted kids - it just doesnt seem real though that it's going to happen. Very scarey....

I think oestrogen gets stored in the fat around your tummy and the excessive amounts of hormones can play havoc with your cycles (so even if you did have a 28 day cycle, you might not be ovulating normally etc). Because Lipotrim makes you lose weight (and essentially fat) so quickly, it kind of kick starts your repoductive system as far as I am aware. I've heard of quite a few people getting pregnant halfway through! My and my OH were ttc prior to me starting Lipotrim but I went on the pill when I started - firstly because I want to actually get to my goal before I get fat again! and secondly because Lipotrim is providing my body with the very minimum I can survive on and lose fat and I have worried about what effect such a reduced intake might have on a developing baby (but my worries may be unfounded so don't quote me!)

It's definitely worth a go though - good luck. :)

We were trying for over 5 years/almost 6 years :(....lost 65lbs on LT :Dand hey presto...got pregnant;)!! Was totally bowled over! We had decided not to use medical intervention for one reason and another mainlyas we very luck as we already have a 7 year old little boy (count your blessing all that)......my doctor reckons the weight loss really helped increase fertility......best of luck hun!
