im looking to buy a lateral thigh trainer, cant afford the PEROPER 1, so i was looking to get 1 from argos for about £30, it does the same thing side to side, up and down... do you think it would be the same? has any1 else got 1 thats not the PROPER 1 iykwim?

I got the "real" one - and it BLOODY hurts! It's a great workout and although i'm overweight people comment on my legs being great all the time. (funnily, i have freakishly longlegs for a shorty, i'm 5ft 1 with 33" inside legs!) I have to be honest though, i'd rather the argos one, can't help but feel like the"real" one is very cheaply made. Good luck xxx

It's crap. The amount of skill to keep you on the dam thing whilst trying to balance on it is far too difficult to any advanced and by far any begginer. This will not allow you to concentrate on the actual task ahead of which is giving an all-out effort instead of concentrating whether your going to fall off the bloody machine.
A recumbent bike or stairmaster is much more better.
