Hi everyone..

i didnt think u couldnt do this diet if ur that young but otherwise i cant help really maybe she should go to docs ash xx

If she is very overweight they sometimes just stop.

Difficult to think about I know- but 15 year olds do get pregnant.(even good girls) I hope she isn't though

I think rapid weight loss/weight gain can sometimes mess up the cycle. I'd say give it another month then she should go visit the docs.

this type of diet deffo messes with cycle
nothing to worry about
i had p during week 1 then during weeks 2 and 3 i bled continuously...
then back to normal during week 5...
very odd but my CDC reassured me that ketosis and losing weight quickly can affect our cycles in the strangest of ways
maybe tell her to wait until next month and see what happens.
oh and do a preg test, better to be safe than sorry lol!!!!!

Hi, No def not pregnant, she hasnt had that 'experience' yet,
she was originally about 15stone, but now weighing in at 12.7, but she is 6ft2 also,
Her councellor said prob hormones etc, and im sure it will sort it self out very soon..

Dunno about missing periods - but just had my first one on CD and it lasted 11 days. It was truly the worst and most painful period of my life..... My CDC seems to think my body is adjusting to the diet and they will settle.
Hope its nothing serious (I'm sure it won't be) but would recommend chat with GP.

can i ask what programme she is on, at 6ft 2 and weight 12 stone 7 she has a bmi of 22.4 so should be 810 minimum and preferably on a higher plan, How much more does she want to lose??? Could be a case of having not enough calories so the body is conserving its energy for day to day instead of ovulating ect. Also how long has she been having monthlies for before starting the diet?

CD messes with my periods big time. Either missing them altogether, or having really manky ones when they do arrive..........I don't really care though - small price to pay for the weight loss and feel-good factor :)
