Hi Ladylite... as you are fairly local to me (I'm in Reading) and are into horses I wondered if you could recommend a good riding school. I used to ride many years ago and although I can't really afford proper lessons I'd love to go out on treks.

Can you suggest somewhere?

:D

Hi Betty, You could always pop over to see me I am 5mins from Junction 13/M4 and we could have a nice chat.

If you prefer not I think there is a Riding School in tilehurst called Hall place that does lots of hacking etc.

Lady thanks... Yeah I shoudl come over for a chat. We'll arrange something soon. Claire...are you sure? I'm not sure what the weight limit is but don't they have different horses for different weights?

Its one of my goals to ride again once I have lost the weight. I miss it, I think I rode every single day from the age of 6 until I was 26.
Lady maybe I will come and see you once I am able to ride something that is not a cart horse.

No you are not Claire, as long as you phone where you are going they will probably have a horse suitable.

Give it a go it is very exhilarating and if you remember from DebG, to ride or ski you have to co odinate all you muscles together.

Why dont you find out somewhere local to you, especially now the summer is coming (well it will be sometime:D)

PS When I was young and lived in London I went riding in Richmond Park, it was lovely. They also have stables at Hyde Park, but I bet that is expensive

Claire there is a riding school near Wimbledon and a very nice place down Surbiton way.

And after riding you will know why John Wayne walked like he did :D:D

that's something I'm looking forward to doing again - used to ride every Saturday about 12 years ago, was taught to ride "Cowboy" style whilst in Arizona a few years back - can't wait to get back on a horse - but will wait until I am nice a slim again - don't want to go and buy a new pair of jophurs every two weeks!!

Anymore takers, I could start up the Lightlife riders club, and then we could have an AGM each year.:D:D:D:D:D

ON NO WHAT AM I SAYING:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Talking about horses I am just off out to feed and bed up, its orrible out there see you all in a mo and if I am not back you know I have been blown away.

Oh my gosh, count me in!! :D Even if it is just to come and gaze at the beauty's! I adore horses, always dreamt of having one, but alas, got me Harley instead. But I love just stroking the soft bit of their nose, and wrapping my arms around their necks - they are such gorgeous beasts. When we move back to California we may get an old horse that needs a home, just to graze and keep the rest of the menagerie company. I also want a little donkey. :)

hey that would be nice if a few of us met up. Probably better to wait until the weather is nicer....and we'll also all be lighter :)

You never know by the time we have finished doing Lighter Life we might all have a really nice ass!!!!!!:silly::sign0151:

lol...to make up for the saggy boobs lol

I think its called "Little Donkey";)

oh I love Little Donkey .... can just hear children singing it now :)

I'd love to have a go at horse riding - would be officially scared stiff but I think I'd like to try ..... might make having a lesson a pressie to myself when I weigh a good bit less!
