Mint choc
Orange choc

Really can't handle the taste of any of them

Have had a veg soup which wasn't gorgeous but palatable

Any pointers would be great

I am hoping to start CWP on Friday. Feel excited but just want the first week over with as everything I have read says that's the hardest although I fully expect it to be a mental battle as I am a big comfort eater. I hope to lose 7st although 6 would put me in the healthy weight category. I just need things to change as I don't want my girls (2&4) picking up my bad eating habits.

On day 3 of ss and am actually really surprised that I have gotten this far... my willpower seems to be working for once lol on a serious note I have 4.7 stone to lose and have given myself until my easter hols in 13 weeks to get 3 stone of that down...I am a big comfort eater.. and have pcos. im not sure if im in ketosis yet i dont seem to feel hungry and get quite cold during the night other than that no other symptoms...!

Nikita19 have you tried the cappuchino hot and also the choc orange is quite nice as a hot choc too...? I was the same with the veg soup but my fave seems to be the mushroom as it feels quite creamy x

Hi currently started diet! First day fine day two I'm craving food! Not that I'm hungry but I just want to eat anything I'm not going too but doesn't mean that it isn't there! I want to lose 4-5 stone ... I go away in 12 weeks I want to lose three stone by then! I'm hoping this is possible!

Hi *waving*
I'm brand new and I'm petrified....

I'm 34 years old, five foot three and weigh 13 st 1.5lbs.

I'm a former model who was bulimic almost all of her 20's. I got well and meet who I thought was the love of my life. My husband left me after one year of marriage ten weeks after I had my second miscarriage. I have no children and am now divorced. I've been alone almost 4 years and in that time I've focused on not getting ill again and been surrounded by feeder friends lol.
Suppose I've just got by on dressing well and having a pretty face and just convinced myself I still looked good :(

I've finally met a gorgeous new guy who is actually a personal trainer and decided I want to look good again. He could help me and do me diet plans etc but I'd find it hard to follow weighing things etc and buying for one, so I've opted for Cambridge and have my first appointment tonight.

I'm scared. I'm embarrassed. I'm upset now I've finally stood on the scales. I'm going to change it.

Any help would be great..... Thankyou x

Hello All,
I started only 8 days ago and I'm following Step 2. I was very happy with a 9lbs on Day 6 :) Still have a long way to go but I'll get there. I don't have a particular time frame but I'll just stick to it 100% and see what happens.
Best of luck to all of you x

Hi There

Welcome to CWP
How has your first week been?

I'm back on the plan after loosing alot with it but then went on to have 2 major operations in a year and put on alot of weight.
So this is me starting back and I'm on Day 3

Jules

Well, this is my first post on here after a number of months of reading all the inspirational stories, weight loss records and ups and downs of other dieters. Throughout my time on the Cambridge Diet so far, I have found reading minimins has really helped me, but now I'm starting to feel guilty for reading all these stories like these ones on this thread, and not giving anything back myself!

So, here's my story! I started Cambridge on 1st Sept 2013. Since then, I have lost almost 7 stone (only 2lbs to go!) and Cambridge has been one of the best decisions I ever made. I did sole source for 12 weeks, then went up to step 2 just before Christmas. Over Christmas I had a couple of days off (Although I didn't pig out anywhere near as much as I expected as felt guilty every time anything off plan touched my lips!) but managed to, over the couple of weeks of Christmas, actually lose a couple of pounds. Since then, I've done another few sole source weeks, then went back to step 2 and then on to step 3 (which I loved as I got to eat fruit - who knew I would find fruit so exciting!). I have had to come off the plan now, after a recent operation, but am still trying to be good and count calories as I am determined not to slip back to old ways.

People keep asking why I did the diet, and how I managed to be successful, but I can't really answer that - it feels like something has just clicked in my brain and I suddenly decided that I wasn't happy as I was and that it was down to me to do something about it.

So, thank you to everyone who has written their story on here and inspired me - hopefully my story can do the same for someone who is just about to have their first shake!

I have my first meeting this afternoon for weigh in, I hazzard a guess that I have about 5 stone to loose to get me to round about 10stone but just want to focus on each stone instead of a main goal.
I am normally an atkins lover but i have no control these days. Your stories have really inspired me! Good luck guys x

I haven't really been keeping a very strict weekly record....I think I can remember the month by month approximates, so here goes below:

September 15th Start Weight 108 KGs or 17 stone

Weeks 1-4 Weight loss 10kgs or 22lbs

Weeks 4-8 Weight loss 6 kgs or 13.5 lbs

Weeks 8-12 Weight Loss 9 kgs or 20lbs

Weeks 12-15 Gain of 1.5 kgs (3.3 lbs) over Christmas and New Year

Weeks 15-19 Weight loss of 7kgs or 15.5 lbs

Weeks 19-22 Stay the same - eating over Chinese New Year

Weeks 22-25 Weight Loss of 7 kgs or 15.5 lbs

Currently on Week 26. My aim is to get to 65 kgs or 10 stone 3. I am currently at 71.1kgs, so just a smidgen over 6 kgs or 13.5 lbs to go!!!
Hope to be there by the end of April.

My measurements are

September 20th 2007

Chest - 48"
Waist - 48"
Hips - 54"

March 11th 2008

Chest - 36"
Waist - 32"
Hips - 37"

I started off as a size 24....I'm currently a size 12...but I did fit into a lovely size 8 Chloe dress at the weekend!;)

omg you're so inspiring to me because you started the same weight as mine but now I'm at the beginning and hearing your story makes me more excited about this whole CD :D

Hi there
I am so glad I have found such amazing people going through the same things as me. I have started the Cambridge this week (Monday) and so far I feel good. My hunger is not as bad as the first day. I really tortured my self on the first and second day but now im feel I'm in the zone. I have PCOS and have been ttc for 7 years. I have never been a good dieter. I managed to lose weight on slimming world but not enough to make a huge change. My doctors have never been caring enough to help, always sending me away with all my hopes dropped because my bmi has been too high. Hearing about all the real results on the CWP makes me feel this year is my year. I am very lucky to have a caring husband though. He has always been there, never putting too much pressure on me but as he hasn't got a weight problem he doesn't really understand the battle to lose weight. I will see my consultant a week today so I look forward to seeing the results.

love tina x x x x

I lost 9 pounds in over a month by following a keto diet. Mainly high fat and protein. I don't eat hardly any carbs and always drink water. It's been a life changing experience. People treat me much differently.

Because you lost 9lbs?? How shallow are the people you hang out with?? :)

PS - this thread is actually for people who are losing their weight on the Cambridge Weightloss Plan - a very low calorie diet.
