Back from the hospital after having a mammogram and fine needle biopsy on my left boob. Actually thats 2 needles that they do. :eek:Didn't really hurt at the time, but now it feels like I have been punched! :mad:Came home feeling absolutely drained and wrung out so poured myself a whiskey (very small....) and drunk it.:confused: I will have to deal with that this week. Good news is that it is probably a cystic fatty lump. How ironic is that!! LOL! I start to get rid of fat and it jumps to my boob! At least it can have the decency to do it evenly and in a large quantity! Back next week to get the results, but I am feeling positive about this one.:D

It is only natural that you would feel wrung out and drained as things like this do tend to take it out of you.

Hi, I've had that done before too... so I don't blame you for having the whiskey. Mine was a fatty lump too and I ended up getting it taken out after being back the second time to get it checked...so basically they took it out for my piece of mind. I still have lumpy bits and apparently some of us are just made like that. I'm sure your results will be good news too. Good Luck for it and try not to worry x

Just thought I'd tell you NOT to eat a bar before you see the doctor. Especially when he is armed with a needle at a boob. The wind that built up was phenomenal - everywhere I went there were hoards of people so I couldn't let it out, even in the loos, so when he stuck the needle in it was like popping a balloon! My poor car on the way home was running on gas I can tell you!

Aw bless ya hun, I had a lump removed 3 years ago, it was a fatty lump, sounds similar to yours, I had tests and all was fine so had the lump removed as a precaution, there is no visible scarring at all and Im just fine, as you will be, Im also prone to boobie lumps!!!!

Pain in the bum, but, just think, if you hadnt have lost the weight you may not have discovered it, and these things are better off being checked out x

(btw - Pilates has the same effect after eating a bar I found out tonight as that doc's needle :eek: - no after pain though).
 
A medicinal Whiskey sounds like just the ticket! So glad it is hopefully nothing too serious, take care of yourself.
