Virgin active gym???

Hi there everyone i am new and was wondering if anyone could help!
I am looking to join a gym and wasnt too impressed with my local leisure centre (apart from the price) had a look online and found Virgin Active. There is one in my area and it looks fab, question is does anyone here use virgin active? what do you think of it? and also membership costs as they dont say on the website, which normally means its expensive (certainly looks it) any recommendations would be great. I am 4 stone overweight so a bit nervous! thank you

Don't worry if your overweight or not, your in the gym for a reason and thats to improve yourself, everyone is there for the same reason.
At my gym there are guys and girls who are 15-20 stone, I respect them.
