Thinking of going on CD instead of LL

now got pictures in album
Hi everyone

Just been reading through the threads, trying to work out what the difference is between the CD and LL. I'm currently waiting for a LL class to start up in my area, I've put in my medical form etc and am waiting which could take up to 4 weeks!!!

Now, am I right in saying that the differences is are with the CD, you dont go to weekly 'meetings' with counselling and the price is cheaper? But you still have 4 food packs a day and see a counsellor every week but on a 121 basis?

Are the food packs similar? Is it like, after the first week you dont feel hungry anymore etc etc

I'm really impatient and want to start my diet NOW! I've checked and there are loads of CD counsellors in my area. Just dont know what to do :(

Hi lillypop,

on CD you have 3 or 4 food packs depending on your height (I *think* they are slightly larger than LL food packs). There is no counselling as with LL and you meet your CDC on a one to one basis for weighing and chatting and to get your packs - I see mine once a week. For 3 packs a day for a week I pay £34.65 it is slightly more if I have bars (£1.75 more I think). I believe the maintenance plan is done differently as well.

Good luck with deciding what to do :)

eta : both plans put you into ketosis so that you're burning fat and you do not feel hungry (but you do feel very cold!)
