ive been on CD for 6 days now and im itching to do some exercise but i dont want it to slow down bthe initial weightloss, so my question is this....will it?

hi. im doing LT and have found that its been fine. i go to the gym x2 a week, plus walk the dog x2 a day and do a 20+ bike ride once a week. the only thing i find is that i get tired more quickly so dont over do it. i also found that for the first couple of weeks it was pretty hard so i didnt push myself and if i felt i just couldnt go, i didnt. once i felt better and had more energy which sort of kicked in after those two weeks, ive been fine :)

hope that helps

and no, it didnt slow weight loss down at all..ive been losing consistantly throughout

hxx (which is what you asked in the first place)!!!

Won't slow it down. The general advice to do what you would normally do. If you never exercise and you suddenly decided to run 10 miles a night, you can make yourself quite ill as you're not having the calories to do it. However, if you've always been very active, it shouldn't be too bad.

If you've not exercised before, then increasing the walking you're doing and some nice exercise classes like pilates can help with toning. You certain;y don't want to overdo it and stress your body.

I;ve always run and done endurance riding, and I've done it throughout SS with LL with no ill effect.

Hi

I had to get a medical form signed today as my BMI is over 40 am due to start Cambridge Diet next Wednesday! my docter advised me to do some exercise, 15 minutes a day swimming, walking etc hope this helps:)

good luckx

I spoke to my CDC about exercise yesterday cos I was wondering if it was ok.. and she said it's fine, she exercised from day 4 herself.. I'm not sure if it hindered her loss to start with, but it certainly didn't slow her progress overall! I'm just starting my 4th week and invested in a cross trainer to keep me occupied :)
