hi low carbers
over the years i have tried atkins and other low carb diets - and have lost weight - but i always saw it as a short term thing and spent all my time on teh diet dreaming of getting back to bread and pasta etc
now i am on cd and i have 21lb - 24lb to go till i am at goal and i am wondering how i will maintain once i am back to eating food
i am a bit of an all or nothing person whish is how i got fat in the first place i guess - so i had contemplated sort of adapting slimming world to be a life long eating plan but i know id do all carb days given the option - and that wouldnt be good
so what i want to know is this - how hard has it been for you to adapt low carb to a life style as opposed to a temporary eating plan?
how easy is it when you have to eat on the go in town or overseas or when travelling?
how is it for socialising? can you have alcohol? what happens if you do decide to splurge in a high carb meal once a month or whatever
basically id appreciate any advice or info from people who are living low carb long term.
thanks in advance
