C'mon everyone, me included! (I'm not the most prolific poster myself) its coming to the season of humongous temptation. We all need to be on here posting our thoughts, struggles,achievements, grumbles etc...whatever! whilst we type we can't be eating can we....I can't anyway. I have been "forced" onto the WW site for my entertainment and as I'm sure you all know it can get pretty frosty over there!! Its way too quiet here, we need to drum up the posting business and I don't mean letters to santa ladies and gents. AND by the way just saw the john Lewis ad...what is all the fuss about then?:confused:
 
Hey! It has been a looooooooong time since I posted on here. It seemed to be only myself and Hules (who has stopped dieting altogether) who posted so I got annoyed. I really need motivating, and the discover plan section has flatlined completely, so I'm venturing in here to see what's about!

I haven't seen the John Lewis ad, but apparently it is sad. I rarely pay attention to the christmas ads, especially when it isn't December yet!
 
im here again! Im online membership online due to kids and its convenient for me. Id love this forum to be abit more active! Im also trying to get over my fear of using weekly points. I need to see it as I do a lot of exercise (2-3hrs a week) so its fine! Im restarting week one today after my little boys 2nd birthday 2 weeks ago and being off track since then x
 
We need to get this site going a bit.I know SW tends to be busier as WW does have its own site but even WW is a bit quiet. I think prob FB has an impact but I'm not a FB user and like it here.
 
I think why SW is so popular right now is because of the "eat as much of the free foods as you like" sayings. If I took that to heart I would eat a whole bag of pasta and masses of potatoes lol
I need WW to keep an eye on portions and proper food. With calories counting I would waste calories on junk for that wouldn't fill me up and then Id be hungry again and eat more. WW makes me use my points wisely.
However im now coming up to 5 weeks pregnant (!) with number 3 so iv put my points to maintain weight (36pp a day) hoping to not gain loads this time! I only gained about 2.5st with each of my 2 so not bad. Im aiming for around 2st at the most this time
 
Sadly, I am back too (2st heavier! Boo!!).
I last posted months ago and on top of falling off the wagon, I got a bit fed up with the lack of noise on here.
I don't envisage rejoining a class - I have the world's supply of recipe books, weekly handouts etc and I am feeling positive enough to give it a go on my own.
Looking forward to reading how you are all getting on.

Well I go back to class tomorrow, think will just rejoin as its on offer so works out cheaper after couple of weeks of cos of work. I think then I will totally update my stats and have a totally fresh start.
I have lerked and posted a couple on ww site but that is still quiet also which has really surprise me. I honestly think its due to individual FB pages (or whatever they are called).
I am going to make more of an effort to post even if its my little rambles. I know I wont post consistently for a food diary but just general bumpf....well I can do that!:rolleyes:
 
We all need to share our ups (more of those hopefully) and downs (hissss!) so I for one will look forward to your ramblings.

Thanks everyone. Not looking forward to it I have to say...just got to bite the bullet and get on with it. Not best week to go back as I have 4 night shifts this week which pretty much just equate to an extra couple of days worth of food:(
