Back to my first love - WW

After far too long of faffing about on a VLCD Ive decided to give up and do the sensible thing, and come back to WW. WW is without question my favourite diet and realistically the only one that works for me.

Anyway Im going to start a new diary and get posting

Cant believe how quiet the WW section is, it used to be so busy, lets hope it picks up soon
 
Hi Starlight, I was previously messing about on VLCD it was like torture to me I'd do well for a few days and then give into the carbs which has always been my weakness. I have put all weight back on and a load more besides because it goes back on unnaturally fast I'll never do VLCD again, I'd lost about two stone on my own before VLCD it took two years of trying different things to lose it anyway I think VLCD was the worst thing I could have done as I put on everything I'd worked hard to lose on my own plus what I'd lost on VLCD within a few months (I put weight on very fast I don't eat a lot but I love crisps). I started WW a few weeks ago and I'm loving having normal planned food and so far it's working I always lose weight slow which is why I was attracted to VLCD.

I love WW too and only joined up in May. Don't think I'd go back to SW ever now I've found this fab diet.

I've noticed this part of the forum is quiet too but let's hope it picks up soon.

I've added a few threads etc and Mini one of the admins helped me by updating some of the threads and making new stickies etc.

Its nice to have you on board the diet.

I joined this year and its one of the best things I ever did. Before I did SW but it wasn't for me. I needed more guidance on portion control and at this point in my life I can't easily cook every night or pre plan and cook the week's menu on the weekend. I also tried calorie counting with an online app which was a start but at this point I need more structure than that, including meetings. Good luck, I hope you get the results you want.

I used to contemplate doing a VLCD but I know for a fact I couldn't survive on shakes, mousses and soups (probably couldn't even do the 5:2) and that even if I did I'd put it all back on again. WW might be slower, but its much healthier, hopefully teaches you good habits and you get to eat.
 
Hey welcome back to ww , it really is the best diet, I've done well in the past with ww and I love it and am doing it from home at the moment with help from the lovely minis on here. I've had a blip recently and put a few lbs back on and without the support on here I would probably have given up xx
