Pre-weigh in disappointment

Hi guys,

This is not an official weigh in. I have my official weigh in tomorrow night but I went on the scales last night just before bed and it showed i only lost half a pound, now I know I shouldn't have gone on the scale. I am really disappointed as I have been so good and feel a lot better and I expected a few pound been the first week. I don't know if it was due to just before bed and the amount of water i had during the day/evening? Has anyone done a sneak peak at their weight and it changed the day of weigh in?

I'm trying not to think about weighing myself at home as I think it's something that can be quite addictive and not for the right reasons.
I weighed myself this morning and noticed a loss but I know how I would have felt if it was a gain or STS.
The beauty of leaving your weigh in for group I guess is that if you get bad news, you've got people there to help you keep your chin up.

Hi Kelly,

Nothings official until you've had your proper weigh in, there is a difference of 1.5lbs between mine and SW's scales (mine is heavier). After you have had your weigh in and if you are still disappointed then speak to your consultant and post your food diary here - between all of us, someone should have some good advice for you.

On my first week I had a sneak peek on the scales and it said exactly the same number as it had the week before. I went to group expecting nothing or very little and lo and behold, down 6. Don't trust your own scales, in fact lock them away completely because they make you obsessive. Weighing in on the same day, at the same time, on the same scales every week will give you an accurate view of your weightloss most of the time.... weighing yourself on different days on different scales will not.
