WW Food Diary: Size 10 here I come!

Hi :)

I'm new to WW after being on and off SW for the past 3 or so years. SW wasn't working for me and I was going from week to week gaining and losing the same 2-3lbs. Heard good things about WW and I've gave it half hearted attempts before but this time I'm determined to stick to it 100% and get back to my pre-university body. I gained lots of weight at uni and haven't really managed to lose it since starting teaching (year 6 adds to the stress!).
Not really sure what I'm doing yet, so any hints and tips gratefully received! I joined online Thursday, but will be weighing in on a Sat morning. Will post food and pics (when I remember!) each day.

Starting with Simple Start, then I'll move on to filling and healthy or pro points, which is best??

Looking forward to starting :) xx

Hi and welcome to ww. I'm here to subscribe.

I've always loved ww having lost weight with different points plans over the years. I had lost 15.5lb but have managed to put n 4.5 lb over the last 3-4 weeks. I am starting afresh on Monday myself and doing pro points. I love filling and healthy but feel I need the structure of portion control for the first few weeks back on plan.

I'm sure that teaching Year 6 pupils would cause me stress too!

Good luck with your weight loss journey. There's always someone here to ask if you have a problem or question, that's what I love about minis.

Nic xx

Hi. Hope you don't mind me popping by. I'm a teacher too and I find this has pros and cons in relation to weight loss. It keeps me very active and you can't snack while you work but staffroom are a nightmare for cakes and biscuits! The stress can also make sticking to the plan and not eating rubbish tricky. However, I have found in the past that I cope better with all the stresses when I'm a more healthy weight. I did Simple Start for one week, F&H for two weeks and points for the last week and a half. Now I'm back at work, I do find pointing easier as I never really know what time I'll be home from work or what horrors will be in the staffroom!

Good of luck with your journey

Kim

Hi welcome and thanks :)

Do you have a diary too? I know exactly what you mean about the staffroom and stress! It's only week one and I'm back to being depressed and miserable already! Good luck with yours too xx

Exactly the same! I've been trawling the job pages every day since we started back. Unfortunately, nothing seems suitable and I would have to take a massive pay cut. This is my twelfth year. I love the kids (year 3/4 SEN - MLD & SEBD) but it's the pressure and work load. Still, at least the weight loss is going well :D As is yours I see - well done!
