Hi I've just started to make a lamb hotpot following recipie from sw site and just realised I haven't got any flour (need 1tbsp) so was thinking of using gravy granules instead. Could anyone tell me syns per tbsp of aldi quixo chicken or beef flavour instant gravy granules please?
Many thanks x

Could only find the beef on the web site - 1.5 syns on all plans for 100ml of gravy made up as directed. A syn amount per tbsp would be easier to work with though, especially if you're adding it to a stew rather than making gravy. Just as an aside, bisto is 1.5 syns per tbsp, in case you have any of that :) That's why I use bisto for stews, you can easily work out how many syns you're adding. It's dearer, but the box lasts ages and I think it's worth it for the syns info!

Thank you for your reply :)
In the end I made up 500ml by adding 4 heaped teaspooons which and with some bizarre maths calculation worked it out as 40 calories per serving so 2 syns. Per person Then just to be on the
safe side counted an extra syn!! I have to say it was delicious! But thanks for the tip about bisto it might just be easier next time to get that!

And just FYI, the Knorr Gravy pots are 2 1/2 each - but they go a long way, I use just one of them to make a huge shepherd's pie
