Hello everyone. My first time here. I feel really bad.. I'm 19 years old that weighs 12:12 :( and unfortunately I'm the kind of person that expects to see the weight fall off ASAP! The first time, I went to weight watchers. Lost 7lbs in a month and then was stuck on a certain weight for a month. I got tired of it and went to the Cambridge diet. Was all good, lost a pound a day but then I ended up quiting because I wanted my food back desperately it had me in tears. So Now, I'm back on weight watchers. I am trying to lose more weight with it but getting disappointed because im not seeing results. Im on 22 points a day. I do not go over my points. My leader told me I could eat junk for my meals as long as they were within my points. this true? I find that hard to believe. Can anyone tell me what they do to make it go off a bit quicker? I excercise i eat healthy i dont cheat i drink 8 glasses of water a day so what is the problem??? someone help please!?!?!

Sorry you sound very low at the moment but sure WW will do the trick if you stick with it. Unfortunately losing 1 to 2lbs a week although very healthy isn't fast enough is it? I remember it being very frustrating. Suppose thats why so many people do LighterLife or Cambridge Diet.

Maybe it would be better to focus on how fit and healthy you are and not on the numbers (easier said than done)

My only suggestion is that you try up and down point days where you eat more points one day then less the following still within your weekly allowance. This will confuse your body and hopefully it'll give up the weight quicker. Also maybe think about not eating your exercise points if you currently eat them.

Stay with it x

i dont think thats true bout having the junk,,nealry sure it's not,,im on lipotrim and was very frustrated last week at my first weigh in,,i lost 7lb and wanted to lose more,,so i'm the same as you,,i have no patients at all,,

With regards to junk food, yes you can eat the junk food if it's within your points. WW is about retraining you to have food in moderation and to make good choices. That's why the junk food has much more points than vegetables for example, or fruit even. So you would only be able to have a small bit of junk food anyhow. And that's how the real world is sometimes, you can't always avoid junk food.

I agree with not eating your exercise points if you want the weight off quicker, and also varying the points so maybe 21 one day and 23 the next and 21 the next, etc.

Hi Stace

I'm in Australia and faced a very similar challenge at your age and I can honestly say if you hate being over weight enough that you will stay focused and try not to think of this as punishment.

Remember every time you make a healthy choice to be proud of yourself that you are getting closer to your goal.

I think you should measure yourself with a tape as cm's come off faster than kilos. Try to drink 3 litres of water every day. I promise you that if you can up your water after a week you will budge that stuborn fat.

If you need some support drop me a line. You can do this!!!

Hello and welcome to Minimins. The weight will come off with WW, honest :) Yes you can eat junk food it you want but youll use your points up pretty quickly if its all junk. Ive found though since I started WW Im much more concious of the points value of things and the fat content and now just naturally make healthier choices. WW is a great way to re educate your eating habits.

Unless you do CD or LL then there is NO quick way to lose weight. If you want to keep food a feature of your diet then it will be slower.

Why not come over to the WW section here :) Youll get loads of advice, ideas and support
