Slimming world and hot weather

Really works for me as it's too hot and I'm not bothered about cooking much so having lots of salad and fruit - yay!

Doesnt work for me...i hate salads and can only shop once a week so my fruit has long gone

Frozen fruit, Elvis?

I like and dislike it. Like because of food, dislike because the dogs hate walking in the heat so I exercise less!

Yes, I've had really good losses the last few weeks, and I'm sure it's got a lot to do with the fact that I've been having huge plates of salad. I really don't feel like hot food much or lots of carbs: when it's colder I'm much more likely to want a huge bowl of pasta!

But i feel like a white choc magnum when its hot

Tried it but didnt like it went too slushy a d the stuff from aldi was too tart for me

Haven't cooked anything at all for weeks and weeks. I will actually have the cooker on very briefly today to steam some green beans for a salade nicoise (I have a little egg cooker for the boiled eggs), but that's it. Not doing anything which will make my flat - or me - hotter!,

I have a different salad every day, tonight it will be nicoise, with tuna and eggs and green beans and lettuce and cherry tomatoes and a few olives. Last night it was rocket and tomatoes and grated carrot and chicken and mango.

Magnum syns. Not as bad as I thought! :)

I agree, I also think my big losses are down to how much I've sweat the past few weeks as well :) x

I am craving baked potato literally ALL the time at the moment despite the heat. It is utterly ridiculous x

No one in our house seems to have much of an appetite at the moment, which helps. Just started putting exercise into my weeks now (previously if I exercised I at to compensate, so I waited a few weeks to get some good habits in place), it is hard to hit the garage for my exercise bike when it is so hot, even waiting till evening but worth it on the scales.

I am the opposite and I seem to be gaining for no reason so I assume I must be retaining water as there is no way what I am eating is equal to 2lbs on

I am debating not getting weighed this week as I feel so down about it.

The good thing about being at target is you only need to get weighed every 4 weeks but I missed last week as well.

I find it's easier to loose weight when it's hot - think I must sweat most of it off, it's all the stodgy winter comfort foods which are my downfall

Keep drinking the water. It might be a bit of retention but you should see a result next week. Keep at it hon xxx

That's odd, I spent quite some time looking Syns up on the SW website and I could swear on a stack of books that White Magnums are 15 Syns each.
Just remembered I forgot to buy some mini milks (dang it!)
SW also did a feature on the website regarding ice-cream and lollies, let's just say that the results were interesting :)
