So.... First entry!

Been doing slimming world now for 4 weeks and although I was really skeptical at first I can say it does work! I have had a lot of trouble in the past with diets, most came from a obsession with food that lead to a really dangerous cycle of eating disorders, but after I met my now wife, I became happy and the pound slowly slipped back on.

But now, we want to have kids, and being a same sex couple there are really strict guide lines as to what we need to be to be even considered for treatment, one of which is a perfect bmi, so I'm really pleased to find a diet that I enjoy and I really don't have to cut anything out, just tweak it a little instead.

I have been really loving the food with it, the only thing I'm missing is crisps to be honest but only once in a blue moon.

He exercise part of it I have been really struggling with, I'm disabled with perthes disease so doing anything too heavy can ache for days after.

So I think that's pretty much everything... Fr the time being at least :)

Well done on the loss so far and good luck with the baby planning. Im sure you can do it without exercise im hoping so as im out of action for 6 to 12 weeks with a bone fracture in my foot so no exercise for me for a while. You will find lots of help and support on here but you are doing great already keep it up

I dont like ice cream its choc thats my big downfall

Wow! What a lovely story, that you are planning on having babies and are overcoming all the obstacles thrown at you. I am really struggling with SW at the minute, and it makes me realise how easy I've got it when I see SWers with real difficulties succeeding. Good luck with your journey! Xx
