Keeping it Simple

Rather comfy here
Morning everyone

I'm an old hat with losing weight and have been very successful, however I've never reached my final goal. I always get to the last stone then faff about lol. I've lost weight 4 times - 2 lots of baby weight and 2 overweight.

For the past year I've been trying to lose 1 stone and keep jumping from WW and SW. I'm now at the point where I'm so fed up with the plans (ive struggled to stay on plan)

So I've decided to do CC, I need something simple. I'm using myfitnesspal which makes things easier and I'm already with planned meals.

Ideally I want to lose 1lb a week but that means being on 1370 cals which will be tough at the weekends. So I'm going to take myself upto 1620 cals if i need to (which is my cal allowance for a 1/2lb loss)

I started Tuesday so my first weigh in will be next Tuesday

Good luck everyone x

So here's my week has gone so far

Tuesday - 1334 (ideal for losing 1lb)

Wednesday - 1830 (ended up having a maintenance day)

Thursday - 1157 (this day was a little too low but wasn't intentional as I was so busy didn't have my usual snacks)

Friday - 1400 (a little over but that's cool as the day before I had saved loads)

Feeling really good! I've managed to stay on plan for 4 days. I've felt no guilt having one maintenance day. It's nice having the 500 calorie cushion if I need it.

Normally if I had been on WW or SW and had Wednesday I'd have felt terrible, I'd have felt like a failure and then gone on to comfort eat and fall off the wagon completely.

This time I'm aware I've had a maintenance day and I may not get the full 1lb loss this week but mentally I feel so much better

Doing well - keep it up. I have done SW and failed but CC is the easiest for me.
