Hi, I'm looking for some healthy recipes for family meals. Any recommendations for any of the current weight watchers books?

Thanks

I tend to just use the internet for recipes but I know people have used the hairy dieters book. X

I've just bought three of them at class while they're on offer lol.

I have the WW filling and healthy, WW cooking the WW way and also the chickenlicious book.

Personally my favourite just from browsing the pages so far is the cooking the WW way its got tons of recipes in it to suit all tastes and anything from quick simple meals to things a little more exotic.

I've just prepared braising steak in mushroom sauce for tomorrow's dinner and I can't wait lol xxx

Hi UKSerena & LittleHippo

Thanks very much for your replies.

I've ordered the two hairy dieters books & will do the same for the 'Cooking the Weight Watchers Way." Really need some inspiration for putting meals together we can all eat.

I've got the chickenlicious and cooking the weight watchers way, but only had them a couple of weeks what I have tried has been nice though! The magazine wasn't so good this month I didn't think for recipes. If you go to the weight watchers food website (where they have all their supermarket products) there's a recipe section on there with loads of recipes on I discovered it last week!

Hope u are able to find lots of yummy scrummy recipes in those books. X

I've tried the chicken parmigiana from the chickenlicious this weekend, which was absolutely amazing. Then today I did the country cottage pie from cooking the weight watchers way, and that was nice too. Tomorrow I'm doing roasted veg lasagne! Can't wait lol

Make it, it's absolutely lush! I definitely recommend it. In the cooking the weight watchers way book there's Aubergine parmigiana and I fancy that too but the boyfriend turns his nose up at things without meat/quorn in! Although he didn't mind the roasted veg lasagne, he said the chicken one from chickenlicious was better x

What's Aubergine Parmiagana? X

I absolutely love the big grey cookbook - I think it's called "The Ultimate Kitchen" or something like that. Everything I've tried from it has been lovely, our favourites are the Sage & Onion Toad in the Hole, Ham and Cheese Bread Pudding (this doesn't sound much but is AMAZING), the Chunky Sausage Pasta Bake and the Pork Steaks with Plums, Soy and Ginger. The portions are very generous too.
