Hope you all have a lovely day, and get spoilt rotten!:queen:

Were off to Leicestershire to visit MIL in an hour, we've not seen her since Christmas. The kids are looking forward to seeing their fave Grandma too. She's cooking Roast beef for lunch, but knows I'm on Cambridge so I'll be having my soup instead.

What's everyone else up to?

Will be very surprised if they even mention it.

At least I will get some peace later on as they will take Mother-in-law out. Spent half of yesterday searching for a suitable card and pressie for her. Nearly got one for myself:eek: :D

Happy mother's Day everyone. Ive gotton very funny cards, and vouchers for shopping centre and salon. dp going to visit his mum today bringing dd so im of shopping for the day :D :D

I saw my family yesterday evening. My son and his partner (they live quite a way away so I don't see them very often) bought me a lovely bouquet with a big Piglet (I collect pigs!) and my elder daughter, son in law and granddaughter gave me a lovely bouquet - so my house is like a florist's shop this morning! My younger daughter is in hospital so I've had a text from her this morning. She's expecting twins in May but is having a few complications so is being kept in for a while. My elder daughter who is having her second baby in April has only just come out of hospital with the same problems! I think they're trying to send me really old and grey before my time!!!

HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY TO ALL YOU MUMS!
x

I have had a lovely morning. Black coffee in bed, two lovely homemade cards from daughter and son, a lovely double plant pot and a single plant pot and even a pressie from my oh as he says he can't cook lunch for me today. He got me the new Delia Smith cookbook which I wanted lol. I will be cooking a couple of things from the family from it next week.:)

Have a great day everyone

happy mothers day to all you lovely mummys here x x

i got a lovely card, £100, and a bunch of flowers :)

Ha ha... all us Cambridge Dieters had very similar starts to mothers day! I got a black espresso in bed (I love these - can't do the black tea/coffee) and got jumped on by my two girls. Got a voucher for shopping centre and a few bath products. Looks like a lot of our OH's are being really considerate of this diet also.

I got a lovely mug and teddy from my eldest daughter,2 homemade cards from my boys,a singing card from my baby izzy and i got to sleep in till 9am.When i got up Ste had tidied up the back living/kids room.
The kids all bought me Run Fat Boy Run on DVD think its there idea of a joke:D.Best pressie came from my 11 year old hormonal and obnoxious boy who said "god mam you'r not looking fat any more"which is a compliment coming from him.

Harumph:sigh:

Well, thankfully I bought my own mothers day pressie when I saw it, otherwise I'd have had s*d all!

My 2 girls made me a picture last night , although they'd been asking daddy to help for several days, in the end I had to help them with it, and he's now off in the garden digging, leaving me to mind 3 children and cook dinner for them all:mad: He forgot to get a card from the children for me to sign, and if I hadn't bought the card for HIS mum, she'd have had nothing either!

Little does he know that I'm booking myself into a spa for a weekend on my own when I reach goal as my own treat:D:D:D He can see what it's like dealing with 3 children under 5:p

Good on ya Dinosaur... yeah my DH ended up doing the garden also, leaving me to cook their roast dinner and mind my two smallies, aged 1 & 2. I tell ya,... you have me thinking about treating myself to a night away at a spa also when I get to goal. Now theres a thought!

:Dwe should all book one together.A big CD meet up.Leave the kiddies with hubbies and just bugger off for the weekend.
I know a good place in cheshire.:D

Hope all you Mums have had a good day.
I am def going to a spa for a couple of nights - something I have always wanted and noe think I should treat myself! :)
