I am a former SW member but had to admit it was not working for me as i'm not good with portion control

I have previously lost 3 stone with weightwatchers, however after going through a rough 5 years (including anti depressant dependence) I put all my weight back on and have been struggling with it since.

2014 was a turning point for me and I have really done myself proud this year so far.

Jan - Weaned myself of the last of a high dose of anti depressants

Mar - Took a risk at an intensice driving course

Apr - Passed my test

May - Finally got my finances under control and managed to buy my first car

June- Enrolled to finally finish My AAT become a full AAT memeber ( accountancy course)


This is my year of acievement and I would like to finally not just lose my weight but overcome that ugly addictive behaviour towards food.

In my first 2 weeks of Weightwatchers I lost 4lb

This is my third week and I have decided to increase my self control by having two shakes a day and a weightwatcher receipe meal.

Today is day 4 and so far so good ....

Mon - 3 shakes = 18 points
Tue - 2 shakes and a curry = 36 points plus (interavl running 30 mins)
Wed - 2 shakes and homemade shepherds pie = 24 points

I have 28 points a day to use - I plan to use my 49 a week on the things I REALLY enjoy rather than just stuff I'm addicted to daily
I go to the gym 3 morning a week to do interval runing for 30 mins

Welcome to WW :) It sounds as though 2014 is going to be your year, it's only June and you should be very proud of what you have achieved so far, you go girl! X

I need to throw my scales away.... stood on them this morning (mid week) and saw a 2lb gain! I felt gutted... I need to throw them away if this the information they are gong to give me in the mornings

I am not going to let it sway my day though - bacon and toast are sizzling away in the work kitchen and even though I could and PP it - I am staying clear and sticking to my shake week ( 3 days left wahoooo)

I didn't lose anything .... ALMOST starved my self and did not lose 1lb

Maybe my body is so used to slimming world (healthy eating) that it refuses to fad diet( milkshakes)

I used my points for the day but no wisely or vastly

I'm frustrated but not discouraged if anything i'll rejoin slimming world and give 120%

Are u sure u were eating enough? I was disappointed last week but then a lot of Minis pointed out I might not be eating enough so I'm tucking into my weeklies this week. X

No not been eating enough at all...I'm terrible with counting and ended up getting so frustrated and binging last night ....I am contemplating going back to SW as my WW group is soooooo dull and I need that support. The only issue i had with SW was porion control and i will just have to MAN UP and deal and control myself.... I feel like crap today really dropped the ball :(
 
Aww, sorry you didn't lose and it's made you feel rubbish. Could well be that your body went into starvation mode though with not eating enough. Why not give it another week using all your points and see what happens? You could be in for a decent loss this coming week as sometimes that's just the way it happens. Whatever you decide I hope you find something that works for you xx

I think you should give WW at least another week, use your Dailies, use your Week and I'm sure you will have good success. And if it doesn't work, you will know you gave it your best shot. X
