Hi, new to this help please :)

Hi, my names steph, I'm 22 and need to lose about 3 stone- am setting slimming world tomorrow due to a meltdown in the dressing room finally making me realise I need to change! I've been looking at the menus and types of food and think I'll be able to stick at it, my only problem is I have a horrible addiction to red bull!! I know it's bad for me and this is probably what has put me the weight on! Is there anything else I can try that will give the caffeine kick I need??

How about black coffee?! or diet coke?!
Yes red bull is full of sugar so that's prob got a lot of syns in it! are you joining a group or doing it online?!
 
As above the diet redbull is free and you can still drink as much as you like xx. Best of luck i joined with 3stone to lose and after 12weeks im half way there xx
 
Yeah sugar free is syn free but it would be a good idea to wean yourself off them as it's not the best thing to be drinking a lot of x
 
Im the same with diet coke, it used to be redbull.. They are so addictive..

I used to drink quite a few full sugar fizzy drinks. I weaned myself off I now only occasionally have the odd can of diet coke. you will get used to living without them honestly :)
 
Well am trying to go to sugar free cordial it's just hard when am at work and all I want it a fizzy drink/redbull! I have hardly no willpower think finding out my actual weight tonight will make me realise more hahah xx
 
Yesterday I just posted about Tastebuds changing, I used to love a Mountain Dew bottle on days where I was feeling exhausted,now I know I couldn't bare to drink the stuff as the lure of sugar has gone. Definitely give diet a try but also ensure you are actually hydrated as if you're not then it can make you feel crappy. I believe SW recommend 2 litres of fluid a day, this is a lot for some people tho but you could try and drink more sugar free cordial alternated with glasses of water?

Just remember that's the last time you will see that number on the scales that's what I was told in January when I joined!!
 
Yeaa hopefully :) am really struggling to get my syns in because everything I'm having today is free/super free foods and my a&b- I've just threw a tracker bar in my bag just to get syns in! Xx
 
Also do you have to stick to a calorie amount each day? Xx

No SW is not about calorie counting..By Balancing you diet with 1/3 superfree it will naturally limit your calories. Best of luck at WI
