Littlepink's sparkly new food diary!

Started back again on Thursday night, done WW a couple of years ago and it worked amazingly for me. Sadly since passing my driving test last May and getting my car, I've been piling on the pounds and it's time to do something about it again!
Since this is my first week I'm supposed to be doing the filling and healthy thing, but honestly I'd only be eating carbs and I am such a fussy eater and do not eat fruit or veg at all. I know, I know!! But honestly I can't even touch them without having a panic attack, ever since I was a baby!

So I am counting points, but not being too strict just yet as it is only my first week. I am however trying not to touch my weeklies at the moment as I really want to try to go my first 2 weeks without using them and to try and loose as much as I can so kick start my weight loss!

Day 1: Fri 30/5/14

1pp allowed for skimmed milk in coffee for the day.

Breakfast: 5am
WW Sweet and Nutty Peanut bar 2pp
Coffee with low cal sweetener and skimmed milk 0pp (milk included in daily allowance)

Lunch: 12pm
2 Warburtons thins brown 6pp
2 slices Wafer Thin ham 2pp
2 slices edam cheese 4pp
Thin spreading of lurpak 1pp
Low Fat toffee yogurt 2pp
Coffee with low cal sweetener and skimmed milk 0pp (milk included in daily allowance)

Dinner: 6pm
Homemade Mac and Cheese 10pp
1 Warburtons thins brown 3pp
Thin spreading of lurpak 1pp

Snacks:
SF Chocolate Nutty Nougat Bar 3pp
Coffee with low cal sweetener and skimmed milk 0pp (milk included in daily allowance)

Total 35/34....oops! well 1 pp over on my first day isn't too bad (especially when I'm not meant to be counting yet!)


Day 2: Sat 31/05/14

1pp allowed for skimmed milk in coffee for the day.

Breakfast: 5am
2 Slices WW brown danish toasted 2pp
3 tablespoons baked beans 2pp
Coffee with low cal sweetener and skimmed milk 0pp (milk included in daily allowance)

Lunch: 12pm
1 Warburtons Thins brown 3pp
2 Slices Wafer Thin Chicken 1pp
Thin spreading of lurpak 1pp
Can of Pepsi max 0pp
Pack of crisps 4pp

Dinner: 6pm
WW Chicken Korma 9pp
1 Warburtons Thins brown 3pp
Edam cheese slice 2pp

Snacks
WW Sweet and Nutty Peanut bar 2pp
WW Sweet Chili Crisps 2pp
Coffee with low cal sweetener and skimmed milk 0pp (milk included in daily allowance)

Hello and Welcome! Here to subscribe :) Your food plans look fab! How do you get your Mac n Cheese to only be 10pp? That's one of my favourite meals and I'd love to know a low pp recipe!!!! X
 
It's actually my mums recipe, she uses wholemeal pasta, quark and low fat grated cheese, she also mixes in a bit of tuna.

Cook the pasta, then in another pan heat up quark and pour in skimmed milk. Once the cheese mixture is simmering add some low fat grated cheese and 1 tin of tuna, mix well.
Then add the pasta to the mixture, put in oven dish and sprinkle some cheese on the top. Cook in oven for about 10-15 mins.

She also sometimes adds in a teaspoon full of dijon mustard.
 
Day 3: Sunday 01/06/14

First day of my 10 days holiday from work...this could be testing! As I'm used to eating at set times when I get my work breaks, but on the plus side no 5am starts for a while!

4 x Turkey Rashers (grilled) 3pp
2 x WW brown danish 2pp
Thin spreading of lurpak 1pp
Coffee with low cal sweetener and skimmed milk 0pp (milk included in daily allowance)

Lunch:
SF Caramel temptation (I have loads of these left and trying to use the up) anyone know the pp value, made with skimmed milk?

WW Jamaican Jerk Chicken Curry 8pp

Going to my boyfriends tonight, this could be hard as he ALWAYS buys me in sweets and crisps and things like that!!

scraping of lurpak 1pp

Dinner:
Burger 6pp
Hovis seeded bread 5pp
handful of chips 3pp

Snacks:
Quavers 2pp
Curly Wurly 3pp

total 30/34pp

Day 5: Tuesday 03/06/14 (otherwise known as the day it all went to pot!)

Breakfast:
Nothing

Lunch:
2 slices hovis brown bread toasted 5pp
scraping or lurpak 1pp
1 slice edam cheese 2pp

Dinner:
Chips, cheese and donner from kebab shop!! god knows how many pp!

Snacks:
1/2 pack of quavers 1pp

Tuesday was a LONG day though, I was through in Edinburgh for a book signing and just made the last train back. Then had to get another train back to where I dumped my car, and by that time it was 11:30pm, had nothing all day except toast and half a bag of quavers and though sod it...I'm getting a takeaway! Back on the wagon today lol!
 
Who was doing the book signing? I found the Mac n Cheese recipe, looking forward to trying it on Friday x
