Hi all.

I'm a stay at home mum to 2 boys.

I usually do calorie counting but tend to go over every day so am going to start 5.2 as of Monday. I feel that by restricting 2 days it will be good for me and will lead to less binging on my up days. Monday and Friday next week will be my down days. Every week will have different down days. I weigh on a sunday.
I'm 5'3.
I weigh 142.
Goal is 122 in 10 weeks. Is this possible?

I went on a website and it said to do 1900 calories on an up day. This seems so high. I'm so used to calorie counting and having just 1600 a day the thought of 1900 scares me.

Any advice along the way would be great.

On my first fast I was going to have chicken salad in pitta for dinner
Low calorie jelly in the day and a pink and white wafer in the eve.

If you work it out, 1900 cals for 5 days then 500 for 2 days works out at less than 1600 cals for 7 days over the course of a week...hope that helps reassure you....

Day 1

Morning, well it's 0700 I'm hoping that the warm weather will ward away any hunger I may get.

Today's plan

Dinner

Chicken, salad and sweet chilli sauce which will be about 250 cals. If I dont have lunch I'll have more like 450 worth of this dinner.

Lunch if needed weightwatchers dinner with veg.

Snack sugar free jelly 16 cals.

I've read that if you have breakfast you tend to be hungrier so am going to fill up with water

Ended on 600. That wasn't too hard. Woke up this morning feeling good and not too hungry.

Day 2 done. Ended on 800 calories. Not sure if to weigh myself tomorrow. Don't want to be disappointed if I haven't lost any weight.

Huge blow out Tuesday. I fasted yesterday and will fast tomorrow so hopefully will result in another loss Monday. If I can lose 2lb a week I will get to goal by holiday which is 9 weeks away. Off to McDonald's tomorrow so a chicken salad for me. Dinner will be a morrisons ready meal. May end up hitting 600 cals tomorrow but to be honest most fast days I hit 600

Hi Lisa! I found your diary through being nosey! And on the paelo forum. I've been on slimming world for two years and looking at ' going clean' how are you finding 5:2 . Is it two fast days? What do you fo the other 5?! Did you not start paleo? :)

Thanks for your message.
I don't really know where to start with paleo but I'm definitely interested in changing my diet towards that style of eating. I try and eat as close to 1800 on the other days although I have gone way over most days. I'm a binge eater but I'm trying to stop. So hard.
I did recently dabble with sw but I don't think it is for me at the moment.

My goal weight is around 8.7;but I want to tone up!
I've tried paelo today and the only thing I've had which is not in the rule book Is a handful of cheerios but I fancied some! Lol I've been searching recipes and it seems doable!

Lunch and tea from today . I think it's on the right track?! How about you?

I'm planning scrambled egg and bacon for breakfast tomorrow ( no fat on bacon) and chicken pineapple and brown rice for lunch.

You definitely appear to be on the right track. All that food is so natural. Where are you getting your ideas from? I have zero imagination. Do you have a diary?

Today I'm on a fast day so a m&s spaghetti carbonara for me with hopefully just fruit and jelly.

Yesterday I ate a load of junk so I think my body needs a break although I have woke up a bit hungry.
