Hi there. Im just new to the forum and to SW and am still trying to get my head around the EE plan. Im trying it thru a friend who has a membership (I dont have one yet) so was wondering if any of you would be able to tell me if the colmans season and shake packs count as being free? I dont really know how to syn them as I cant tell if the calories printed are including the meat/fish you are meant to add. The in particular im wondering about is the lemon and dill one for salmon. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys :)

Hi there, the lemon and dill is 3 syns for the packet. It's one of the lower options syn wise some of them are quite high

Thank u for the reply :) Gutted, as I thought they would be ok! This is prob a daft question now but I take it if im using whole pack for myself and my partner I would only count 1.5 syns? x

Yes if you are having half. Theres a free option from lidl: Reef Crest Pink Salmon Fillets in Lemon Butter & Dill Sauce, frozen twin pack. (142g each)

As you are new to this, one of the things you will need to remember to do is to check the ingredients lists of the things you buy. Everything has this information on it (although you sometimes need a magnifying glass to read it!).

This product contains vegetable fat, potato starch, and maltodextrin and dextrose, which are both types of sugar Most things with those types of ingredients will have syns, although maybe not that many.

I don't think that three syns for two people for a whole meal is too awful - syns are there to be used for the things you like.

The Mediterranean chicken one is DELICIOUS! And it is 5 syns for the whole thing but share between 2 people that 2.5 syns – not bad at all in my book! J x
