Going to the cinema - need to plan syns!!

Hi all :)

Im going to the cinema tonight and usually i would pig out and have a large popcorn and coke. But im going to drink 7up free. but i see 25g of popcorn is 7.5 syns... so im wondering what do sw members bring to them cinema? im thinking maybe a bag of snackajacks or something. Also, im saving my syns for tonight :) X
 
If you like popcorn sainsburys do a low syn one and there is a skinny popcorn that boots do so take those in.
Otherwise use your syns on crisps or choc, maybe take some carrot sticks
 
Do you have to have anything at all? You could just watch the film and eat when you get home. That would be syn-free!

A friend of mine has been telling me of a cinema where they don't sell any food and don't allow any food to be taken in - apparently it is hugely popular with people like me who have stopped going to the cinema altogether because of the noise and mess and smell of food. Unfortunately it's nowhere near where I live, but maybe it will start a trend!!

Sorry to be so grumpy - it is a real bugbear of mine!
 
It's really funny that people feel that have to eat when they go to the cinema! ;) I realise that the 'cinema shop' is tempting but I just don't get why people have to eat while watching a film!! Just my personal opinion!! Lol I know some people like to snack when watching tv too. Personally and luckily for me, I'm not one of those people!



You could take some fruit if you feel you need to eat?

I don't really understand having to eat in the cinema either - you're only in there for a couple of hours.
The crunching noises drive me mad as well!
 
Im going to take a bag of tesco sweet and salty popcorn with me when i go to the cinema on friday which is around 4 syns :) And have a huge diet coke!! Were going to nandos just before though so hopefully i will be too full to have much!

I was feeling a bit down there for a second.. thought I was the only person that ate at the cinema. The only reason why I do it is because no matter who im with they are munching away.. and the smell of popcorn is so yum . Thanks for you comment :)

Thanks for your comment, I just brought some rice cakes from aldi 1.5 syns each and a coke zero.

Hey there ! :) Thats great for you that you don't need to eat at the cinema! I was just planning my syns yanoo.. ;) LOL I don't really see is as being unlucky... its just the cinema haha :L:L
