Hi all

I really don't know what to do.

I'm finding cc so hard at the moment.
I lost loads with cc but can't seem to find the motivation to keep within my calories.
I have 14 weeks today till holiday. I have 20 pounds to get to goal.

My biggest thing is chocolate. I adore it which is why I went back to cc.

I find I am hungry on cc but got fed up of fruit last time I did sw.

any chocoholics find sw works for them?

If I know im going to want chocolate ill pick out a chocolate bar that morning within syns and made sure I save enough syns to enjoy the chocolate guilt free with a cuppa at night x

Oh yeah! Derrr! How many calories are you allowing yourself at the moment? I think if you do sw it will be a more balanced healthy diet as you need that fruit and veg. When I was calorie counting I just spent my calories on rubbish. With sw your limited to 15syns so around 300kcal of rubbish. The rest is fresh healthy food :) try mixing fruit up like make a big fruit salad at the start of week. Mine last around 5 days in the fridge with pineapple watermelon kiwi and grapes (all my faves) or snack on veggie sticks or free pickled stuff x

Why not try it? 14 weeks is quite a long time, and 20lbs would be under 2lbs a week, which doesn't seem a lot when you break it down like that. If you don't like it after say 3-4 weeks you can still swap back, no damage done, you're unlikely to gain on SW, (at least not if you're on a sensible amount of calories now) so it might be a welcome change for you, even if it turns out to be just a small break from CC. For the record though, I do a mix of both and it works quite well :)

I would definitely give it a go! I love slimmingworld and find you do eat more calories than you are "supposed to" but it works! xxx

I am a chocoholic. Im always eating it. Love it. Love Slimming World. Give it a go, you never know :) Good luck xx

Hiya I had a spin with calorie counting before coming back to SW. I've been on plan for 12 days and so far so good.

I find it a lot easier to follow, there's still enough syns to give you chocolate if you need it and you still get a weight loss.

I've stayed on plan and had no issues, where's with CC I only lasted 4 days before feeling deprived.

I say give it a whirl

I would definitely recommend it. I eat kit kats, chocolate fingers, mikado sticks, and milky ways all the time. No need to miss out on your choccy fix with SW.

You have nothing to lose but the weight...:)

Whenever I track out of curiosity my calories are low but don't feel deprived. Its win win! !

Just worked my calories out for you. Ive had 1650 today. Not been hungary once x

Hello. My name is Natalie and I'm a chocoholic!
I definitely find SW much easier to stick to than CC. SW gives me a structure to work with. 15 syns a day is actually quite a lot. A chocolate bar is usually between 6 to 10 syns so you still have some left over for other things.

I've tried calorie counting so many times and always failed. I hate the constant counting and the feeling of "oh god I only have 20 calories left for today but I'm starving!". I always fall off the wagon and binge after a few days.

But with SW there's hardly any counting. You only count syns which are supposed to be the last thing you reach for. First you eat your free and superfree food which are the basis of meals and snacks, and they really do keep you full for ages! You can eat unlimited amounts of these whenever you like as long as you are hungry and stop when you are full.

I've been on SW 9 days so far, so not a long time, but have zero urge to quit or binge. I hardly feel hungry inbetween meals and I lost 4lbs my first week!

Thanks everyone. Are there any offers at tge moment?
