Not sure if its already been posted but Alpen Lights have been revamped and can now no longer be classed as a healthy B choice. The new recipe has far more calories and substantially less fibre so have a syn value of 4 or 4 1/2 syns depending on which flavour you choose.

The new packaging will have "Now even more delicious" on them so you may be able to get your hands on some boxes of the old recipe in some shops before they roll out the new. Apparently Asda will be the first to change and then other stores.

Im off to stock up!!!

Morrisons have 2 boxes for £3 for stocking up on the 'old' ones. As long as they say 70 calories they're good, new ones are 90.

I suspect Alpen may see a drop in sales....

noooooooooooooooooo!!! This is my work breakfast every day with fruit boring I know so convenient! Back to porridge :(

Have a look on the sw website for other cereal bars you can have, there are a few and if you go to group there's always hifi bars ;)

There are still bars that you can have as a B choice (even some store-brand so theyre generally a little bit cheaper)

In the past Muller changed their recipe so the yogurts were no longer classed as being 'free'. In a very short space of time they received so many complaints that they changed it BACK! If you really love your alpen lights (I do!) complain to weetabix (who make them) you never know, they may just change it back too- Theyre not exclusively SW but members must be a huge chunk of their consumers and they have to listen to what the people want.x.x.x.
