Hello, I'm new to slimming world and planning my menu for the week, trying to use up my freezer foods before I restock with sliming world friendly.

i've got one haddock fillet left and hoping to have for tea on Thursday. I'll be doing extra easy, if anyone could help me with the syn value I'd really appreciate it.

it's tesco haddock breaded fillets, they come in a pack of 4.

205 calories per fillet, 8.8g of fat, 0.7 saturates, 3.2g of sugar and 0.6g of salt

thank you xx

Hi there. Shows up as 9.5 syns

You could eat the fish and leave the coating? I would then count it as free.

(You used to be able to have battered fish from the chippie and count it as free provided you left the batter. I don't know if this is still the case, but I do this for any bought battered/crumbed fish).

You are a marvel! I knew about taking the batter off fish to make it free but hadn't thought to do the same with breaded. Mine comes out at 11.5 syns per fish. Its nice fresh fish inside but it does make you wonder if any of the oil it must have in the coating has seeped in.

If they're the chunky ones (my hubby has these) they're slightly less at 8 syns each.
