Target reward?

I am proud to nearing my target at last and I was wondering if other target members rewarded themselves, and if so, how did you do it? At the start of my SW journey I thought I would get some lovely new clothes, but necessity has forced me to do that already (necessity of not appearing naked in public with my 'fat' trousers and jeans tripping me up around my ankles.:D) Then I thought perhaps a new swimming costume but I know it will hardly ever get worn (not enough sunshine or swimming pools around me) and I would not use it often enough to enjoy the reward. If I ever go somewhere that needs one I will buy one especially for that trip. Perhaps a new hairstyle but that is kind of scary.

Go on, tell us... what have you promised yourself as a reward?:character00238:

I save the £5 every week, and when I want a little treat, clothes item or make up item, it's there for me to use!

I'd love to get a nice professional pic taken with either my DH or my sister and mum. We (mum, sister and I) had it done before- one of those packages where you get your hair and make up done, and they take a heap of photos. Would love to do it again, but not the shape I am now! (I was much thinner the last time)

Clothes. Clothes. Clothes. Clothes. Clothes

Strappy clothes. Smaller clothes

More revealing summer clothes, clothes that I buy because I damn well like them not because they cover more flesh and I kid myself they look flattering.

**whispers** shorts

yes I have bought some already but when I get to target I'm going to take out a decent sum of cash and spend the lot. Just on new clothes.

Are you talking about the £5 meeting fee that you no longer have to pay? That is a good idea - for so long I have been paying this so it is a habitual part of the budget now.

LOL, yes I love this idea too, but I have also bought new clothes out of necessity. Of course I love wearing them and feel great in them, but with only 4 lb left to target I doubt very much that I will drop another dress size. I guess my wardrobe really needs a proper going over - it is a hodge podge of fat and new clothes and I really badly need to get in there and throw out the stuff that doesn't fit, to make space for the new!

Mine is defiantly clothes. Oh and I have agreed a set amount and budgeted it in that I can spend on clothes when I am at target. Officially I have 7 pounds to go but for me I want to comfortably get in size 12 trousers. Though as I have hips may need to rethink this to 14.?

I'm going to get my first tattoo when I'm at target :) it is a promise I have made to myself. I'm no where near yet.

Ooh, that reminds me that years ago I promised myself a belly button piercing when I got slim enough. Lol, at the time I was young and naïve and didn't imagine it would take me so long to get slim enough that by the time I finally was a) it would no longer be fashionable and b) I would no longer be so young! I don't think it would suit a 45 year old chemistry teacher now.

Oh yes I've one planned too. I have my pictures all ready. I will be going in soon to get it drawn up as there will be a waiting list at my chosen place. I will be picking a realistic date when I will hopefully be at target. Whoop

Yeah the £5 weekly fee! Would have paid it if I wasn't at target so figure I might aswell save it up for treats now

I'm going to buy new clothes when I get to target! Lots of dresses and figure hugging stuff, no more baggy jeans and t-shirts!

For me I'm a little different re reward.

Im actually in the size clothes (size 10) I had always aimed for when I lost the weight after my second daughter (in 2012) but I've never been completely happy and still very critical of my wobbly bits (love handles and my bum)

So my target is to lose another stone and have the reward of feeling completely and utterly happy with my figure and enjoy my clothes. Want this summer to not have to worry what I look like with my shorts on lol

Lol, I absolutely get what you are saying cheeky. I am really looking forward to summer feeling confident and comfortable. My DH has decided to that what we really need (please read the sarcasm in my tone here) is a weekend away, camping with some complete strangers that he has met through a website of like minded people. This will be in about 6 weeks and I hope to be at target by then. I am really thrilled :)airquote:) with his ideas but at least I know I will be confident in meeting them and their partners and not feel like the big fat whale in the corner who is straining at her size 16 baggy t-shirts and elasticated skirts. I guess that feeling will be a wonderful reward in itself.

Our camping trip or in 6 weeks too! Nice to feel comfortable one less worry when trying to put the tent up lol

Clothes, tattoo or trying for a second baby ;)

I want to get a pair of denim hotpants!

Oh and a very expensive feminine underwear set.....!

A long way to go still for me though.

I never really gave this much thought until I saw one of the other lovely ladies of this forum posting how she'd subscribed to "glossy box". After googling it I commented that I would really love it but couldn't justify the expenditure for an indulgent treat and she suggested that it could be a target treat - best idea EVER!

That and being able to buy size 8 jeans would just be the icing on the cake - hopefully not long to go now!! xxx

Tops without sleeves, skirts above knees, strappy glorious pretty things!
And one, just one, properly tight fitting, gorgeous sexy and sultry dress - not that I'll probably wear it anywhere, and I know I can look good in clothes now, but I've always missed out on this part of life - even at my smallest I wasn't confident enough to wear something people would stare at, but I think this will be my time to shine (as they say) because it will be done slowly and I'm toning up - last time I was just a wobbly stick! :p

I guess my wardrobe really needs a proper going over!

What about having a colour analysis done? My friend had hers done and swears it's made a massive difference to how she shops for clothes... she always looks amazing. I think she used this company

I've got a tattoo planned for when I hit target, it's only a small symbol but it means 'transform'
