Taster next week

We have a taster session next week. I usually do scotch eggs and my friend does quiche. Want to do something different this time but it needs to be something that we can make the day before and is nice to eat cold as our class is as soon as we get in from work.

I also prefer to do savoury as theres often a lot of sweet stuff anyway

Any ideas oh wise ones?

If you search for threads with taster in the title you'll get loads of similar threads

I've got a recipe for that (and also for red onion chutney that goes lovely with it) but, much as I love pate, I cant even look at raw liver without feeling sick

I tend to make an All Day Breakfast Rice or a Chow Mein and either take it cold or if I have a bit of time I stick it in the microwave for a bit while I'm getting changed. They usually go down really well with my group.

Ooh would you please share the pâté and chutney recipe as sounds amazing! :)

I'll have to get the recipe off my mum for the pate but the red onion relish/chutney is so easy. Just slice up loads (and I mean loads) of red onions, put in a pan with some balsamic vinegar and splenda (just to your taste) then simmer for ages until it goes all sticky.
