Here I am again!

I'm off uni for 5 weeks so decided to try slimfast again. I tried during term time but found it too difficult - way too exhausted and started to affect my studies.

So I'm planning on doing sf for these five weeks. Then I'm back at uni for 4 weeks (where I'll eat 500cal below maintenance) then its summer holidays. Yippeeee! I'll follow slimfast over summer. Seems a but convoluted but hey, at least it keeps things interesting!

I'm on day 3 now. It's been ok. Not great, have had some bad hunger pangs, but I'm really happy I've resisted takeaways and chocolate!! I'm a big guy - my maintenance cals is roughly 3300 a day, so I have upped the cals to 2100 per day instead of 1800. Here's hoping today goes well!
 
Day 5, all going well!! Hunger pangs are becoming less frequent and im sated more easily from what I eat/drink. Fingers crossed for the next few days!
 
Well done! I can't normally get passed day 4! I've set myself a 100 day challenge and can reevaluate after that!
How are you finding it? Any tips for sticking to it?

The first week was tough at times but overall alright! I have literally had to force myself to stay on track at times lol. But overall i find it quite enjoyable. Now that the first week is over my appetite has decreased and im not snacking all night.

I drink a tonne of sugar free diluted juice. Its practically no calories and curbs sweet cravings.

Count calories properly. I have found at times i have underestimated so really try and be alert.

And i have a cheat meal once a week. Not a cheat DAY. Just a takeaway one night a week
 
Sounds like you are motoring through, Dan! How much water/juice do you find you get down yourself each day?
 
At least 3-4 litres. I always have drank tonnes though lol. I have heard it should be like 1litre per 7lbs.

I'm loving slim fast. It's so easy after the first week is done. Dont half look forward to my cheat meal on a friday though lol.
 
Difficult afternoon. Seriously starving!!! Haven't come off plan but I reeeaaaallllllly want a burger lol

Its going really well thanks! I've had a bad stomach today though, think i have something wrong with my intestines lol.

Cheat meal tomorrow woohoo! I used to order takeawsy pizza 4-5 times a week, from different places so they'd not think im greedy. Now once a week is perfectly fine, enjoy it much more when its a treat! Hoping for a 2lbs loss tomorrow.

Lost just short of 3lbs this week which is awesome I'm so pleased! I've lost exactly 8lbs in 2 weeks. I'm hoping to lose another 6.5lbs over the next 3 weeks before heading back to uni.
