Extra Easy Having a 'green' or 'red' day when on EE

Hi all.

New to all this malarkey. Can someone explain to me what the story is with switching to a different plan for a day from ee? Do you just follow the green plan that day for example and go back to ee then? What would be the point in this and why do people do it?

Really curious and just trying to get my head around all the information. Thanks.

Hi, you can switch plans to have a green or red day whenever you like whilst on EE although be careful about the Healthy Extra and syn differences. I think the reason people do it is just to change up the routine a little, try something different and some people have said to me it helps speed their weight loss when they've been stuck on a weight by incorporating one of these days into the week.

I usually do EE (rarely do anything else nowadays), but did a green day yesterday as I'd already used one HExA and one HEx B on All Bran and Soya Milk at lunchtime and fancies Jacket Potato with Beans and Cheese for tea (so going green meant I had and extra A and B to play with. As I hadn't eaten anything non-Green so far I could swap mid day. I often used to go Green if going for a curry as well as it doesn't matter so much about the third superfree and sometimes it's hard to know if you'll manage that when eating out.

I do think I used to lose more with Red and Green days to be honest, but have got very used to the convenience of EE and am not sure I can get my head back round Red and Green mixture without messing up now.

I realised after 3 weeks of EE that I was more or less following Green but without the extra healthy A&B! So switched and I found it a lot easier being able to have 2 HeB's :) But that's what I love about SW is you can change day by day to suit you!!
