Scales robbed my motivation :-(

2.5lb for eating nothing all week?!! :mad: I can live with 3lb at a push (in the hope that I'll lose more next time). But at my weight I do expect about 4lb.


Suddenly my goal of being 15st by May 10th looks completely impossible. Think I'm going to struggle now, as I'm off work and do not have the positivity that has been driving me before today.

Seeing that on the scales couldn't have been more painful if the things had jumped off the bathroom floor and smacked me in the face! :doh:

Aw don't be disheartened, did you use the same scales? Did you drink enough water?

Yes I used same scales.
Water, Im not sure? I drink a lot (because I seem to get dehydrated quickly); but perhaps I need to measure it just in case I'm overestimating what I have. I'll try that :) xx
 
Exactly the reason I put the scales away

I weigh monthly now, and that has been so liberating! :D

Please don't get despondent, the weight will come off - just not in the lovely linear way we would like ;)

Thanks Darcy! You're right, I guess my body just wasn't aware that it was weigh day lol! Gonna try drinking moe and hang in there for next week!

(I'm not sure I'm patient enough to wait a whole month lol). xxxxx
 
I drank more water and look at the difference!! 4.5lbs this week!! Thanks for the support and advice everyone.

Up yours bathroom scales! lol x
