Exercise on cambridge

Hi all.
Advice needed please! I worked super hard this week and stayed 100 per cent on plan but added 20 minutes on the elliptical machine a day. Quite disappointed with a 2lb loss this week. Burning roughly 100-150 calories a day on the elliptical. Has this put me into starvation mode as I was expecting a good 4-5lb loss. Gutted! xx

Hi,

What week are you on? I stayed the same last week and this week. Would of been very happy with a 2lb loss. I bet if you look at it with your other losses its fab.

Wk 1 -8lb
Wk2 -6lb
Wk3 -3lb
Wk4 -4lb
Wk5 -3lb
Wk6 -3lb
Wk7 -3lb
Wk8 -STS :-(

I lose less on the scales on the weeks I exercise but more inches. I lose a similar amount to what you lost this week on the weeks I walk every day. Muscle is unfortunately heavier than fat but from my perspective there's not much point in me being 9 stone if I've still got a big saggy post baby belly.

Thanks guys.
I'm only on week 2 of restart and have never put extra exercise into the equation so it's quite disheartening. Going to leave the exercise until I've lost the majority of the weight to try and tone up the excess skin I think. Need decent losses to stay motivated xx

I work out for 15 mins a day, every day, I just do 10 mins on the treadmill (My thighs look like big tubes full of cottage cheese and I need this gone!) and 5 min's punching the crap out of my punch bag for my bingo wings, I find this helps me to feel more focused ad like I'm actually doing something, as the weeks go on I'll add 5 mins a day until I'm eventually doing 1hr or as close to an hour as I can manage without feeling faint, I agree with Kiwi, Losing inches and toning up is more important to me than just losing it fast and ending up looking like a deflated balloon xx
