Hi all, just wanted to say hello and hopefully get some support from y'all :) I started Exante TS 3 days ago, I have been starving so have ended up having shake, meal, bar plus half bar extra each day, I'm hoping to skip the extra half bar from today. I just weighed my self too, I have avoided this as thought it would de-motivate me, twas more of a reality check really :-0. Feeling a bit dizzy today, anyone else felt this ?

Hello! Yes the first 3 days or so are horrible. What I'd worry about is that the extra half a bar could prolong how long it takes you to get into ketosis.

I did the same as you this time (had a small bowl of shreddies to make me feel better for the first couple of days) and it was soooo the wrong thing to do. I've done VLCDs before and been 100% from day 1 and believe me it's definitely easier that way. So yes knock the extra half a bar off today, be brave and it'll definitely get easier quicker.

I did suspect this, prolonging the agony of ketosis cant be good. I think the timing had an impact for me, because of work I haven't been able to space the packs as I would choose too. I can today though....... and much more water today too .....

Good luck with your journey! I am on day 2 - I am not too sure how long it takes to get into ketosis? You shouldn't be far off! xx
 
Day 10 for me and it has been OK. Try and avoid the extra half bar and you will get into ketosis quicker, then with a little luck, you should not feel hungry after that. Just take it one day at a time and use this board for support especially when you wobble.
 
Thanks everyone. Today is a bad day, started out feeling a bit dizzy, now just feel shocking and have the worst headache. God I hope tomorrow is better .......
