Hi I'm hoping some of you have done Aqua Aerobics in the past, or even are still doing it now. I'm looking at joining a group on Monday. This will be my first exercise group I've ever joined, I've done gyms and swimming before but only on an individual basis. I have a few questions that I hope you can answer for me.
1) Being a mid 20s male will I stand out as being the only male/young person in the group? all the pictures I've seen on articles appear to be of older women.
2) How exactly does one of the classes work? what kind of exercises? and how do we copy someone if they're in the water and we can only make out their head?
3) Do you have to be a very strong swimmer to do these classes?
4) Last question, in a hour long class how much of that is the actual exercise and how much is just time spent in the pool?
