Evening all

Once again I am back. Stopped for months and having to deal with the consequences. Wrote this so many times so I am not going to bore everyone with the boring details. We have all been here which is why we are here minimins :) I have a wedding this year and one next year. I NEED to lose the weight this time/ Most of all I need to do this for me. I am fed feeling like this. I am constantly tired, sleep all the time, hardly let my OH touch me let alone anything else! We go camping hols which usually involve walking or climbing which leaves me feeling shattered and even worse about myself as OH is lot fitter than me and has to wait on me catching up all the time. Would like to be able to wait on him!!!

Tried WW at the beginning of the year thinking that it would be a good change and although they kind of have a SW approach now with dare I say some better elements I could not follow it. Think TBH it came down to their webpage which is crap and the pages on here, no one spoke and there were hardly any posts, was a bit down heartening!! So although I have a couple of weeks left on the plan I am starting SW tomorrow. I have been at curves for a couple of weeks so see how that helps with the exercise side of things, couple of apps on the Ipad too to chuck in some variation. I will be logging on MFP so that I can keep track of portions as that is one of my biggest problems.

So slight ramble over and I hope that some of you kind souls will help me on my journey.

Will start logging food tomorrow. Away now to get some brekkie ideas :)

Oh BTW i am wanting to lose about 3.5stones or tone up to a happy point.

Had horrible close 2 a migraine 2day, bn on couch sleeping most day & eating when tablets have kicked in. Bit of a niggle at moment but couple more tablets then bed.

D - cooked chicken, macaroni mug shot (2), marrowfat peas, pint juice, bottle water
S - 2 x flying saucers (2), kit Kat (5), snack a jacks (4.5), 2 x pukka tea

Well this was breakfast, u do get a lot 4 35g in comparison 2 other cereals but very bland & not sure how filling it will turn out 2b!!

Had a gd day. Off work but went to curves, done a shop, caught a mouse my lovely cheety cat brought me!!!

Off 2 have my evening snack & tea b4 bed.

I usually go for puffed wheat as you do get a lot more than other cereals. I have mine with a toffee muller light instead of milk and chopped banana. Makes it a lot tastier and very filling x
 
Pasta looks lovely, do you use tomatoes too?

It's so simple. Bacon, mushroom, chorizo, Schwartz spicy Italian seasoning, veg stock, tomato purée & passata. We added the chorizo, gives it amazing flavour :)
 
Thanks. Will make a note of that, sounds lovely and simple too.

I can give u exact amounts, will dig out recipe as I jst chuck things in now - made it that often!!
 
Recipe as requested

Swap chopped toms for passata to desired consistency & add chorizo for flavour. Even some chicken if prefer

S - tic tacs (3.5), snack a jacks (4.5), 2 x pukka tea

Quick day at work, lots to do but love it. Glad to be given new roles :)

S - HExA, HExB, hoppers flying saucers (5)

Still at work - will update more later :)

Curves then some housework when home. Quite liking curves, u get a gd calorie burn :)

Dinner 2nite & prob lunch 2moro

Gammon & Pineapple Rice - 1 syn due to the pineapple being cooked
Serves 1


1 gammon steak
Small onion, finely chopped
Small can pineapple chunks in juice - i use Fresh & use more stock
1/2 a vegetable stock cube
2oz (50g) dry weight, brown rice
Chestnut mushrooms
Chilli
1/2 a red pepper, sliced
Dash of soy sauce
1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Cut gammon steak into cubes and gently dry fry with the onion, mushrooms & chilli. Add pineapple, the stock cube, rice and approx half pint water and bring to boil. Cover and cook for 10 mins. Add more boiling water during cooking if necessary.

Stir in soy sauce and season to taste.

Finally, stir in the chives, heat through and serve immediately.
