Hi all,

Im new to slimming world. Had 2 weigh ins now: 1st week lost 4lb and 2nd week lost 5lb :D Wahoo


Any advice from anyone for continuing the loss at this rate?

Wow go you! Great losses...what plan are you doing? EE? How much are you wanting to loose?
 
Yeah im really pleased :) Not really been trying this last week and thoght id have lost a max of 1lb so was stunned.

I just do extra easy because im a really fussy eater. I think whats worked for me is that im blooming lazy so when im hungry, if i havent got anything instant or precooked then i just go without!

Was 17st 12.5lbs to start. Not really got a target weight in mind but would love to get down to a comfortable size 16. Cant get any smaller than 14 or i will lose my modelling contract!

I'm new too, lost 5.5 in my first week so hoping for another big loss this week!
 
hello slimmers!! I'm new to slimming world and this site so be gentle!
I'm basically doing this for my husband who both of his parents have heart conditions and have had major ops in the last 4 years. My husband carry's his weight round his middle and chest (worst place)!!!!
Its not as common for men to want to lose weight but with perseverance, he can and will!
I need any helpful slimming world tips, recipes (quick as I work a lot) and to be honest manly dinners as he wont touch salad, he needs a good 'free' dinner so he can fill up but not too much!

Hi hannah. Good luck to your husband. If it's any help my OH has been eating the SW dinners too and he's not complained. Have you checked out the magazines? I made steak and Guinness pie for dinner last night and it's definitely manly. There's quite a few great recipes on here :)
 
Hi guys and gals,

Just an update....ive lost a stone WAHOOO!!! In just 7 weeks, aiming for another stone in the next 5 weeks. Really feel like ive got into my stride with this diet now. I constantly have "jelly babies" in the fridge and snack on those and have egg, broccoli, tomato and bacon muffins every morning for breakfast and usually a jacket potato at lunch. Hows everyone else getting on?
 
are jelly babies just regular jelly babies or are they a slimming world thing?
 
I presume it's the slimming world version.
sugar free jelly made a bit stronger ( no cold water added to dilute ) and set in those novelty moulds you can get ( teddy bears, hearts etc. )
 
Well done on the losses, I'm on week two, lost 6lb my first week :)
