Dieting with the Family

Well today is the start of me, my brother and my sister in law starting our sw journey together with weigh in photos being taken and sent to each other on a weekly basis - first target to lose weight for is my niece's christening at the end of March. Hopefully we can all lose a decent amount by then and the support of this site and online sw we should sail through ..... Feeling determined!

First weigh in: 13 stone (me) 11st 6 (sis in law) and 15 stone (bro)

Couple of thoughts I'd like to share, if you don't mind?

Weekly photo's will be too much (you'll barely notice the odd lb or three); monthly might be better ;)

You have 6 weeks between now and the end of March (roughly) and the expected, average, weight loss is geared at between 1 and 2lb per week = a minimum of 6lb and a maximum of 12lb between now and then :clap: Wow! You are all going to look fab!! :clap:

Thank you for your thoughts and your message :) the photos are of our weight on the scales not our bodies (thankfully as mine will take a lot of loss to notice a difference lol) as for weight loss I will b over the moon to lose anywhere between them weights every lb is a bonus :) x

Aha! "Evidence" - I get it :giggle:

You are going to do just great! Particularly as you are in competition with family - a healthy competition between close ones is always a great motivator, I think :) Go knock them for six :giggle:

Haha that's the perfect word for it 'evidence!' Watch this space for the weekly weigh ins! It's great though, my brother came to mine tonight and we were like talking about what we'd had to eat today n stuff he's well getting into it haha my sister in law will be keeping him right though :) xx
 
Well first weigh ins have all been done, have to say between the 3 of us we have done well for our first week .....

Me: - 2lb
Sis in law: - 3lb
Brother: - 6lb

Roll on the next week of our sw journey :) x

Week 2 weigh in:

Me: - 1lb (not really over the moon with this spesh with how good I've been this week) Total loss: 3lb

Bro: - 4lb Total Loss: 10lb

S-I-L: - 2lb Total loss: 5lb



Total Group Loss: 1st 4lb

We are doing it on here, my friend is a consultant so i hit a low and stop losing I will see her. Your right at least it's a loss and today is the start of a new week :)
 
Yes it is! And there are loads of people to help on here if you want to post a food diary, we can just check it. It always helps¡
 
Oops forgot to add weights on for last 2 wks (not that mines worth bragging about like)

Wk 3

Me -1lb. Total loss 4lb
SIL - 2lb total loss 7lb
Bro -2lb tidal loss 12lb

Wk 4 (pancake week lol)

Me + 1lb total loss 3lb
SIL + 1lb total loss 6lb
Bro - 1lb total loss 13lb

Back on track this week so fingers crossed for a loss on tues!
 
Wk 6

Me -1 = 5lb total loss
SIL -1 = 10lb total loss
Bro (not weighed in yet) to be honest he's over his target loss just trying to maintain I think
 
Wk8
Me - sts total loss 6lb
SIL - 2lb total loss 12lb

Gonna weigh in again on Friday as we r changing our wi days b interesting to see what 3 days difference is before the Nxt week
