Lindsey is losing it! Weight, not marbles.........

Lindsey-g

Recovering chocoholic
I started following SW at home on 3rd January 2014. I have been a member of SW twice before in previous years so I have a book and loads of magazines for inspiration. I usually get sick of dieting after a few months, so I am hoping that by making small changes to my eating habits whilst not feeling deprived I can lose weight, albeit slowly. i am generally aiming for 1lb each week. I don't have the time or inclination to exercise and know that this will slow down my weight loss but I can live with that.

i love reading other peoples diaries and thought I should really do my own.

Monday 10th Feb

breakfast: bran flakes, skimmed milk, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, grapes

lunch: JP with salad, carrots and sweet corn tsp mayo (2syns)

dinner: pasta bake and salad with garlic mayo (4syns) sauce made from onions, peppers, tinned toms, garlic and chilli

snacks: 2 yoghurts (tesco healthy living fat free Greek style, mango and passion fruit) no idea if they have syns, but have guessed at 0.5 each one. Banana. Tea/ coffee with sweetener and milk. Sugar free vimto.

Congrats on the diary :) here to sub. Well done on your losses so far Lindsey. Your food diary looks fab :p ! Wishing you all the success with your weightloss journey.

Hi Lindsey, if you go to settings (which is next to log out) click on that, then in the left hand panel you will see `edit my signature' click on that, then in the edit box insert the http link to your diary (which you need to copy paste) and press save, it should work. Hope this helps :)

Hey, here to subscribe. Food diary looks great!

I found them greek style yogurt on the Syns online page and for the 120g pots they're 0.5syns :)
Hi Emma,
thanks for looking at that. I was a bit concerned that they could have been loads more but had to eat them once I bought them. I am loving the muller light Greek style. They are bogof at my Tescos at the moment.

Hi Lindsey, hope you having a nice day :) . I love the muller greek style yogurts too, have you tried the coconut one, they are gorgeous. You can have them as dessert, or if you like currys then you can add one to make a SW style Korma curry, it's delicious .

Hi Lindsey!! Thanks for pointing me at your diary - I hadn't noticed that you had added a link in your signature, doh! :D

I am doing the same as you, if I lose 1lb a week I am happy and by the time I am at target I feel that eating healthily will be second nature, I already find that I make healthier choices than I would have without really thinking about it. I also love searching for new low syn treats! :)

Hi honey hope you are having a good day xx

What a day! Weather is just awful, wind, rain, cold. At least we are not close enough to the Thames to be affected by the floods.

I have got loads to do, ironing, cleaning but can't get motivated. Will be panicking to get everything done last minute as we go to Butlins for the weekend on Friday when kids finish school. Looking forward to some family time. Just hope the weather gets a bit better.

Wednesday 12th February - EE

breakfast: branflakes, slimmed milk, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes

lunch: JP salad

dinner: chilli with rice (extra lean mince, tinned toms, onions, peppers, carrots, courgettes, kidney beans)

chilli was was nice, but made it a bit too spicy!

hope everyone has had a good day.
