Newbie saying hello :)

**2015 is my Year!**
Hello! Just thought I would post a wee hello and introduce myself. I've tried every diet under the sun and had reasonable success but decided to give old fashioned calorie counting a try with the help of the my fitness pal app. I'm going on holiday in May and then Going to australia in September so on a mission to get as much weight off as possible lol. Do people have good results using the mfp app?
 
I've not used mfp yet - I'm still using My Net Diary, which does much the same thing. It's amazingly helpful as it gets rid of my tendency to graze and overlook how many calories I'm actually scoffing through!
 
Hey just popping in to say hi I never used mfp but just read the calories on everything!! now am maintaining tho seem to have more choccy incidents!! the gym does tend to wipe out any bad food tho must try harder to eat healthier than I have been recently tho!! :p I holiday is a good incentive to get slim I orgonally started slimming because I didn't want to look fat in a bikini for my holiday to Thailand in November ;) now pretty much gym obsessed I do so much excersize having to eat alot more to stop myself dropping anymore it's obviously pretty crap tho if your adding calories in cake, biscuits and chocolate tho!! Hi!

I use MFP and did before I gained most of the weight again! It's so helpful, you can do it on the go and really think about what you're eating and if it's worth it!

It was a teeny bit of a chore at first but you soon realise you eat similar things so you can just add it again!

Plus it adjusts your calories as you lose weight which is great. I think counting calories is good if you want it the old fashioned way!

Thanks ladies , just had my lunch of homemade soup with a roll and turkey.

I am really feeling motivated right now which is good as havnt felt like this for a while.

Totm is brewing just now and I am feeling bloated but hoping that by time Tuesday comes round it's not too bad on the scales.

Just chilling before heading to the gym and a nosy round the shops before back to work tomorrow.

Aw thank you everyone has been so welcoming on here. I was under my calories yesterday and had a gym session so pleased with that.

I really fancy a chicken kebab tonight after work so might treat myself :)
